Since I was in town for the holidays, I wanted to take my younger cousins out somewhere. We decided to come here since my god daughter had never been ice skating before. We came for the 1 – 3 Saturday shifts… it was fairly packed but nothing that was unreasonable. Prices were pretty good. 4 adults and 1 child. My god daughter got in as a child… though, after every lap she wanted to «take a break» so Im not even sure if we got our monies worth on her! The child(5 and under) is $ 5 and the adults(5 and up) are $ 9. Music was playing in the background… though, some of it may not have been completely appropriate for kids. Current pop and rock music is great but some of the rap songs probably werent age appropriate. I know cause I heard my husband singing the songs and he doesnt exactly censor his words :) We alternated between skating and chilling in the food/drink area. The biggest plus was that they had these metal rollars that younger kids could use to help them learn to skate. I have no idea how we would have taught my god daughter without these! My biggest complaint was the lack of staff. They had one(maybe two cause this one guy who told us he wasnt working started working) guy maining the ticket counter, skate exchange, and food place. Superman, if you ask me! Anyways, neat place to go for a date or an outing with the kids.
