I actually make it a point to stop here when we are traveling home from the airport. I enjoy shopping in the store area for cute baby clothes. I get my grand kids something at least every other month. Also I buy my Wood wick candles here. The food is like home cooking, the portions are not huge so FYI if your super hungry. The food is good and the service is excellent.

It’s good food and the staff is super friendly. Unfortunately I learned that their food is made with lard, so it’s not a place I will visit often.

Service here is poor at best. We have waited well over an hour for seating and watched numerous people seated in front of us. Not because it’s crowded — Because organization is very very poor. Just not worth it. Plus they have no gluten-free options. Why, in 2016, would that still be true? Poor choice. I wish I could do negative stars.

Took the family to cracker barrel today, and had a great time. When we walked in we were greeted by staff and we were seated in a nice timely manner. We obviously had breakfast and the food was prompt and hot. The waitress was kind with the kids and had a fantastic attitude with every table. There was a fire roaring that kept the restaurant warm and welcome. The food is good. One thing that I might complain about are the prices. Its a little steep for breakfast. Also the kids breakfast does not come with meat. Ordered bacon separately. Thankfully they charged for one order of bacon instead of two that was nice of them. Our kids always love going to the store. They always beg for something and today we actually got them something. So everybody was full and happy.

This is the best place besides home for a home cooked meal! The service is friendly and fast, they get your picky order correct, and you get to shop after you eat! Love me some Cracker Barrel!!!

Much better service this visit. What a difference a month makes! Plus, we were not charged for switching out biscuits, gravy and grits with tomatoes for our low carb all meat breakfast. Thank you Cracker Barrel!

We eat at Cracker Barrel often and generally have good service. Today was terrible. Not only did we wait over twenty minutes for a server to acknowledge us, our entire section appeared appeared to be waiting for service. Most of the diners did not have drinks or food. Those that did had dirty plates and appeared to be waiting for a check so that they can leave. We left but noticed a manager leaning by the fireplace while we walked out. She was right in front of our section so surely she also could have observed the problem. When we explained why we were leaving we received a weak«sorry» from her. Really? Bad leadership and bad service. It will be awhile before we go back

The food here is very inconsistent, I’m not sure if it’s different cooks or what but we have come here a lot and one day it’s very good and the next it’s like they just don’t care. Also the waiter Steven M– he is rude and has attitude when you ask too many questions. I’d go somewhere else.

Was back here for breakfast this morning. Other than the server being polite and attentive, a complete disappointment. Ordered 1 Blueberry Pancake and a side of Bacon. The pancake was not completely cooked through in the middle… Now to the Bacon. I don’t know where the bacon came from. It was like déjà vu all over again(to quote Yogi Berra). I was transported back to my high school cafeteria, where, the deep-fried paper-thin bacon. Nasty, nasty, nasty. Beware. I did not send it back. Should have. Advised the cashier about the bacon and was told she would speak to the cook… You know what that will get you? «Chef Special» the next time.

Firstly, our server, Kari was absolutely amazing! Positively asking for her next time we come! It was my first time eating at any Cracker Barrel and she was very friendly and gave me many choices on what’s good. Absolutely amazing! Highly recommended!

Definitely a great experience! :) Great food, great and friendly staff, very kind people in town. Overall an awesome experience. I’d never had Cracker Barrel. It was a home cooked meal away from home! Pricing wasn’t bad either. Very family friendly

Their hash brown casserole is underrated. It’s cheesy goodness makes me order it almost every visit. The bacon is also a step above, thick cut hickory smoked. The coffee is kind of weak. Hey CB, everyone including Chick-Fil-A and McDonalds has stepped up their coffee game. Time to make more effort on the Java. The country store is great, though a bit tight if they have a dozen or more shoppers. It’s nostalgia city. Good for gifts if you don’t have much time. Check the discounted section in the right front corner. The kids usually find a fun bargain. And of course the old school candy near the host station. Consistently good breakfast and comfort food in an old fashioned, casual, country setting. Comes with a massive front porch and fireplace, good for rainy days.

Went years ago to Cracker Barrel, and was disappointed. I was told to give it another chance. Unfortunately this experience was even more disappointing that the previous. Our waitress barely knew we existed. Both of our glasses were almost empty halfway through the meal, and she finally brought us tea and water at the end of our meal. We wanted more biscuits but since she never stuck around longer than 2 seconds we couldn’t ask her. The person who brought us food tried to leave immediately, so we had to yell to get her to bring gravy for mashed potatoes. The fried chicken was burnt and bitter. The chicken fried steak which apparently used to be hand breaded and fried was now a frozen patty that is warmed up. The corn muffins just tasted weird. The biscuits were good. The fried okra didn’t have enough cornmeal and tasted kind of like cheap fried okra you buy in the frozen section and toss on a baking sheet… All in all an extremely disappointing experience…

The hubby and I went here on New Years Day and were expecting it to be really crowded since it’s a holiday. The previous reviews had me a bit worried about the wait & the service. We were seated immediately and our server, Mary, was excellent! We ordered brunch food and it was all really good. After tasting some of my southwestern grilled sausage my husband ordered a side for himself. Mary was nice enough to go in the back to find out what brand it was(Hillshire Farm) so we can try to find it at a grocery store. And to top it off, they had their Christmas items marked 80% off and I got a really great deal on some Yankee candles!

God the management is god aweful here. The servers are nice but this place isn’t as good as it used to be. You’ll be waiting forever to get seated. When I went to go pay the bill not one cashier was at the front. I had to yell for someone. When I made a comment about the manager hiring more people the woman just gave me a deadpan look. I know it sounds harsh, but after coming here for so many years and not having any host when I come 5 times in a row I get tired of it. Food wise its just fine but I’m seriously considering going somewhere else. If they spent half as much time with their customer service as they do trying to sell you their crap from China this would be a great place. Kyle is a great waiter though ask for him if you go.

Even though we came here on a holiday(July 4th) and the place was busy, we got seated(6) quickly. Our server ROCKED! Krystal, thank you for your excellent service. She hands down has been one of the best waitresses I’ve had in quite sometime. She moved fast to accommodate our requests. She did what servers were supposed to do… but she went above and beyond. Now onto the food. I have yet to have bad food from here. I eat everything and then some. I love it. The bacon is good, the biscuits are good, the chicken fried chicken, the okra… I’m pretty damn sure EVERYTHING is good on that menu(breakfast wide, have not had anything else). After you finish eating, you can wonder around in the store and find some really cool things. Cracker Barrel, even with a funny name, I love you to death!

Wow what a wait. The food is the same as at every other cracker barrel all over Texas. The reason for my 2 star rating is this… The service was very slow and they forgot to bring out items I asked for and refill our drinks. I would be more understanding but it was 3pm on a sat and not very busy. Our server was nice well the 4 servers that waited on us were all nice but equally inattentive. They did bring out complimentary peach cobbler with us even complaining because they knew that the service they offered was not great. I would give this location another shot because the food was good.

The service we didn’t have an issue with but the food was not good… I have to been to cracker barrels all over the country and always clean my plate and this time barely ate half. All of our food was cold, the carrots had a weird taste, and the biscuits were burnt.
