Where were you??? I brought three of my co-workers with me as we all were in Greenville on business and you were CLOSED! Your hours list you being open until 9:00 and it wasn’t even 8:00! So, so disappointed. Closed because it was slow? Perhaps. Will I harangue my fellow workers to join me here in the future because the food is so darn good? Not likely. I don’t want to be sitting there in the parking lot in front of a dark restaurant again, apologizing and trying to find another place for us to eat. So disappointed. :(

Ate here on 8÷5÷15 with a friend, had the Illiano’s special, she had the Baked Pasta. Both dishes were very nicely priced especially considering the portion sizes. Both required to go boxes. The baked pasta had an excellent amount of cheese and sauce. The pasta was changed from penne to angel hair, so that alone told me the food was made fresh as compared to prepackaged like most other places. The Illiano’s Special was seafood pasta with rose’ sauce(mixed alfredo/red sauce) with a good amount of jumbo shrimp, crab and scallops. There was a good amount of meat than I am used to than places like Olive Garden or Similar higher priced. Food was very hot, server very courteous appeared authentic, event had an accent. The cook even came out and asked how things were. So that made things pretty awesome. It’s not a very busy restaurant. I’ll definitely be recommending this one to friends and family.

Abe loves this place. And poor reviews are likely by children or novices. Probably the latter since this is a kid friendly place and I’ve yet to see a child who wasn’t smiling. Please try the Tiramisu. It’s divine and home made by Josephine.

Love the chicken broccoli, stromboli, white pizza, lasagna– all of it is delicious(especially the lasagna)! Paul R should head on over to Olive Garden if he is looking for a cheap, americanized-italian meal, because Illiano’s is the best damn Italian food around so I don’t know what he’s talking about!

One of the worst dining experiences I can remember. We tried it because Portofinos was too busy and My daughter ordered meatballs. They had freezer burn. She couldn’t swallow them and had to spit them out. How hard is it for a family Italian place to make a meatball? We told the waitress and she said she would tell the chef(not the right title at this place) and still the check came for $ 75.00. Go buy sauce and frozen meatballs at Costco. They are much better.

Good example of pay for what you get – Everything is mediocre but it’s also not expensive. Not the best Italian food in Greenville by a long shot. Entrees are slightly above what you could whip up at home in 20 min. Appetizers and salads are just not very good. Atmosphere is odd, scenery looks like it used to be a diner converted into an Italian restaurant. Overall i would give it 2.5 stars but they don’t have half star reviews.

Had a calzone with sausage. Could not taste the sausage and the tomato sauce was bland.

Food is pretty good. The owner has a serious attitude problem with Americans. As his family owns several pizza restaurants in town that he is worked for, he has something to prove but doesn’t want to be polite or be genuinely appreciative of the very ones who support his business. One thumb up for the food two thumbs down for the attitude.

Not so satisfied this time, we were greeted with, «What to drink?’ After looking over the menu I asked if they had a Chicken Parmesan sub, he said on our lunch menu. Okay, so now we get a new server, thank God, I ended up ordering Linguine with Calm sauce, when it came out I thought I received someone’s leftovers or this was off the kids menu. The portion was very small, not worth the price considering pasta is so cheap.

Italian food. .. I was having a craving for Italian food.. . Unilocal pointed me to Illiano’s but it wasn’t the top recommendation in the area. After being here, I’m not sure why. The service was outstanding. I was looking for something garlicky, and the server recommended a couple of items but I ended up with the scampi. While waiting, I ordered the bruschetta, expecting a couple of slices of garlic bread with the tomato and basil topping. I received a big serving — enough for 4. There was something odd about it, a bit too heavy with oil, I think. The topping was perfect, the bread crispy, but it seemed to have soaked up too much oil. The oil taste overwhelmed everything else. One piece was more than enough. The wine, on the other hand, pretty much took care of that odd taste and left me ready to try the main course. I don’t know, though; the wine pretty much had me ready to try sampling a lot of things on the menu while waiting for the main course. The scampi was tasty. The shrimp and the linguine were both cooked perfectly. Having the shrimp purged and neither overcooked nor raw — and the linguine served al dente made all the difference. The waiter brought me a small side of olive oil with some chopped garlic because he said there wasn’t really a lot of garlic with the scampi. He remembered what I wanted. I was won over with that small act of service. He actually paid attention to a customer. Win! There’s a family atmosphere about Illiano’s that shouldn’t be missed if you’re in the area.

Good Italian food at a family run restaurant. I had the Illiano’s special which is shrimp, scallops, and crab in a «pink» sauce that was very good and the price is very reasonable. I also really enjoyed the bread which appeared to be pizza crust cut into triangles. The service was also very good and attentive — I’ll be back.

Great authentic Italian restaurant. The restaurant is family owned and operated and the cooking is exceptional; the sauces are very delicate, not the typical American Italian cuisine. We visit Greenville every year and this is always her favorite restaurant.

Great Italian food. The pasta shouldn’t be missed. Small side salads and pizza dough for bread are the only cons. This place is always warm so dress appropriately. I recommend the Bolognese. It’s excellent
