So what happened! Everything on the menu has increased $ 3 or more. Food still good but. $ 18 for chicken and mashed potatoes is a little extreme. So add a beer and soda with tax is a $ 50 bill. Yes still good tasty food but really! $ 50 for two chicken dinners not a good value. It will be a while if we return

Our favorite for the chain restaurants. Can’t go wrong with carrabbas… fresh hot bread is a great compliment to fettuccine shrimp alfredo! Yum yum

First impression, both hostess seem to hate their jobs, did not feel very welcome and felt like an inconvenience for them to sit us. Server and food were great! Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the hostess

Had a wonderful meal. The wings are excellent as is the margarita pizza. The owner Santana came by our table and was very gracious. We had a great meal and will definitely be going back again. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I just walked out of this place after doing a call ahead seating. The person on the phone asked me when I was going to arrive. I told him that it would take me at least 30 minutes to get there. He stated that would not be a problem and we were on the list. After arriving I was told that we were now being added to the list and it would take one hour plus to get a seat Why offer call ahead setting if you just add them to the current wait list. The staff became rude and acted like they did not care about this call ahead procedure I am ok with waiting, but would have made a different choice if they had stated that the wait time was going to be over one hour Please think before going if you don’t mind waiting, then do call ahead two hours before you go.

Really great service and chef James you are the best cooking our meal with some of our parties food allergies… the shrimp with the lemon butter sauce was perfect and the best fettuccine Alfredo I’ve had, so rich and creamy… looking foward to trying the new menu… kudos…

I don’t understand all the bad reviews, considering the great experience we had. We had a really good meal and the service was above par(and whoever said Olive Garden was better than ANYTHING seriously lacks taste buds!) The only reason it gets four stars instead of five was there were some lags in getting drinks refilled with the restaurant only a quarter filled, which was weird because any other time the guy was Johnny-on-the-spot. Apart from that, if I were in Greenville again(very unlikely; traffic NIGHTMARE!) I’d stop here again.

This was a walk across from my Holiday Inn Express after a long day’s drive. I ordered wine and a vegetarian pasta dish expecting nothing special. For a chain, I was pleasantly surprised. The carafe of red wine was served at the correct temperature, not warm room temp. The hot bread would put any restaurant to shame. The pasta arrived hot and cooked al dente. The prices seemed fair. though I am not familiar with area pricing. It was my first time at any Carrabbas, but I will not hesitate to try another one when on the road.

Because it’s a chain, which presumably has standard operating procedures, this place gets two stars. The food wasn’t great. My pizza was prepared carelessly as was the soup. Soup is a main part of the lunch menu at this restaurant so it shouldn’t feel like you are eating leftover cutting board scraps when you have a bowl. The minestrone consisted of vegetables cut haphazardly into randomly sized pieces with a sprinkle of overcooked kidney and garbanzo beans. Service was okay, didn’t get a drink refill and had to wait on the check. Wouldn’t recommend this one.

I guess if you are hungry and miss the OG down the road it’s a place to fill belly That’s all Service was ok Bathroom was kinda clean Foot slipped on pee next to uninal Food was blah Chicken Parmesan sandwich was so much worst than a BK sandwich Salad with creamy Parmesan dressing was fair to minimal I dropped $ 30+ bucks on a pretty lame lunch Yea they got beer but I would be happy with a soda from fast food

Carraba’s Greenville does a disservice to its franchise name. My Chicken Parmesan was completely dry and void of taste save its faint flavor of burned oil. My sons’ pizza and chicken fingers were good but that is hardly what an Italian restaurant aspires. We sat at the bar to see the stove and kitchen to keep the boys happy. The warm stove and flaming wood were the only good points. The kitchen was surprising disorganized and messy to be in public view. Just not what I’ve loved about Carrabas over the years. I would still visit other locations but don’t plan to return to this one.

NOTREALLYWORTH A RETURNTRIPBUTOKAY Although Carrabba’s is in Georgia, we have never eaten here. We actually ate here today because our initial choice fell through. I expected them to have a larger menu with great seafood options, but this wasn’t the case. If you take away the sandwiches,(which are not an option), there isn’t a wide variety. We both ended up ordering pasta dishes. I had the ravioli presented in a tomato cream sauce while my husband had the fettuccine with chicken. We shared a basket of warm bread. Both of our pasta dishes were delicious but not filling. Because I am not familiar with this restaurant, I wasn’t thinking about everything being offered a la carte or may be I am just spoiled by my favorite restaurants which are largely Asian. Anyway, our waiter mentioned that the vegetable options were broccoli and asparagus which I tend to eat quite frequently. I would have preferred a dish of sauteed zucchini, greens, cabbage or some other options but apparently the chef has a small repertoire when it comes to veggies. Although I was tempted to order dessert, I(an awesome baker), was not interested in paying $ 8 for any of their benign desserts. That would be like asking a mechanic to pay $ 60 for an oil change. Crazy right? Sometimes common sense has to trump appetite. The food, while delicious is not filling but it was nice to finally sample Carrabba’s menu. Service was impeccable and the ambiance was a quiet calm which is to be expected just prior to 3pm. Now, on to the next!

Maybe it was an off day, but, my lasagna was so overcooked it was mush. The appetizer was good.(Antipasto) my son’s spaghetti was good.

Very disappointed! Service was poor at best. Server spilt a drink on us, later forgetting about us, then served the wrong food, followed by later serving the wrong drinks and forgetting about us again by not bringing our entrée. Said he was sorry each time, however the repetition was frustrating. The Shrimp & scallops were fair and minimal and the pasta was cold. Overall, do not recommend this location and will not go again.

My moms steak was fatty, he brought us another one plus more ravioli and 2 free desserts! My sister ordered a drink and it took a while so she cancelled the order and he brought her the sangria for free! Great experience!

I’ve been here many times. I like this place, the food is good & the service is usually great. I recommend the Shrimp Diavolo(essentially fried shrimp marinated in butter & various peppers). For your entrée I recommend the Fettuccine Weesie, Shrimp Alfredo carrabba’s style. Their Arnold Palmers are great as well!

What has happened to one of the better feel good classic restaurants?! I used to love this italian chain restaurant — many memories of great meals, conversation, and evenings. I have had 3 terrible experiences of late and I am done throwing my money away trying to relive the good olé days. The latest bad experience consisted of dry old bread, salmon small, dry, and grossly over cooked, the crab cake was not recognizable as crab, and lastly, the Marsala filet was not a filet but a gristle laden sirloin masquerading as a tenderloin cut of meat. Mind you… The price of this meal has only increased along with the decline of quality. Not only do u leave hungry but a little depressed and feeling cheated.

Carabba’s is a place one may not get too excited to eat at. I would say in general the food is similar to Olive Garden but I’d concur it’s a notch up. Also the décor of the Carabba’s is nicer(OG is a 90’s dive). We chose this place out of necessity as it was a long day at work and the place we were staying at was a short walk away! Also a colleague had a hankering for a decent bowl of good pasta! I ordered the Italian salad to start with and then the Speidino di Mare(scallops and shrimp breaded then wood grilled). With this it came with a choice of side so I took the corkscrew pasta that was told to be a bit spicy. The salad was in and light, fresh and decent. My entrée was a bit on the lighter portion side but had a nice grilled flavour and the pasta was decent in a somewhat rich sauce! I’ve eaten here before and it pretty much is the chain experience decent but nothing earth shattering amazing! Portion size is decent(not huge, not small). Service was above average on our visit and courteous and no issues here. If you want Italian food that is a step up from Olive Garden at a reasonable price then this is not a bad choice. I wouldn’t argue your Italian grandmother would concur it’s a bad experience. She may not think it’s authentic but hey it’s decent! Experience was on the upper side of good!

I hadn’t been to Carrabba’s in years, so I figured it was due time to revisit and review. Starting off with drinks, I was disappointed by the beer selection. Yeah, yeah, most would stereotypically say that wine is the way to go with Italian food, but Italy has some really good beers, and I would have like to see some of that in the restaurant. For dinner, I started with the lentil and sausage soup. I was not a fan of this soup. The chunks of sausage had an unappetizing look to them, and the lentils seemed to be overcooked to me. They were cooked to the point of beginning to turn to mush. My entrée was fantastic. The prosciutto wrapped pork tenderloins were amazing. The meat was beautifully prepared, and was very tender and flavorful. The port wine fig sauce it was served with added a nice sweet touch to the meats. The sautéed spinach was okay, but I’ve had better. I had a difficult time deciding between three or four stars, but the only thing I really enjoyed was the tenderloins. Granted, that was the main course and carries the most weight, but I was disappointed by the soup, side dish, and the beer selection. Maybe I can give them another star after my next visit.
