Wow what has happened to this restaurant. Something has changed. 4 of us went to dinner poor service, even had to ask for silverware took our order and took forever to get our soup and salad and it did not all come out at the same time. He had to order refills. Two of us Tried the new chicken stuffed ravioli very dry ant not much sauce. Would not order again. Had to ask for drink refills Just a bad experience

We came here with a group of 6 on a Sunday afternoon for dinner. We were seated after waiting for about 5 minutes. Our server was Jasmine and she was excellent! She constantly came by and asked if all was well or if we needed anything. My drink was never empty and bread and salad(or soup) were always topped off. Service was 5⁄5. I ordered the Chicken Scampi and my wife ordered the Chicken Alfredo. They were both very good and had plenty of taste. I especially enjoyed the roasted veggies in my scampi as it added a little kick to the whole fish. There have been some reviews here stating that portions are meager. I would strongly disagree as I had about half my plate and was completely full. I would say that this is a wonderful location with great staff and great food. The only thing I would consider changing is more parking options.

I’m giving 2 stars because when my correct food came out it wasn’t too bad other than overlooked tortellini. The service was terrible and I think their new computers are to blame. Our first waitress informed us that«they were making her get off the clock» which sounded weird. I’ve worked as a server and at $ 2.13 an hour usually they have you finish with your tables. So I can only imagine something was seriously wrong. Given my food was rang in wrong she was either really sick or was fired for incompetence. Her replacement did the bare minimum. She didn’t check on us after our food came out. My order was totally wrong. We hit the button on the computer to indicate there was a problem. About 5 minutes later she came by and seemed to have no clue how to handle a wrong order. She left my plate in front of me and said, «let me see if it was rang in wrong.» 8 minutes later she returns and says, «okay it was rang in wrong»…plate still sitting in front of me. I sit for 15 minutes before a manager comes by to apologize… plate still sitting in front of me. 10 minutes later my correct order comes out. I’m asked if I want my incorrect order taken away. YES! Still don’t see our server for awhile. Husband has to press button on the computer to get a refill. Manager said she’d take my food off the bill, she didn’t. Husband hits the button to page someone. He gets it fixed. Then we pay via the computer. Other observations… table across from us had issues paying because they wanted to pay with cash and get change back. Took them around 15 – 20 minutes to have this taken care of. The table behind us had their order wrong. Actually after writing this, I’m giving them 1 star. They need to either get rid of the computers and give real human service or not rely on them to do all the work.

Service was fast, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was all good, except the salad was a little on the dry side. However the entrée was very delicious. The place was clean and the restrooms were well maintained. Would definitely return!

Well– once again Olive Garden and made me not want to come back. Service was okay, but the waitress tried to take my food three times before I was done. Food was tasteless, everyone at my table had to add salt and pepper and still wasn’t enough. Only thing I enjoyed was the breadsticks. Soup was great but was taken before I could finish– so that was just«great» and the brand new«Ziosk» is just a pain. It said we had two tickets(the ticket that was not ours wanted to charge $ 30) and we only had one and we pressed the«call waiter» button and no one came to help.

Lunch was nice, typical. The waiter was sweet but seemed distracted. Overall did a good job though. Food was good, hot, tasty and presented well. Not innovative but consistent venue. The desserts were very sweet– just what we wanted.

I have always enjoyed Olive Garden. The first two times at this location were decent. But the last time I visited was spectacular. I decided to stop during lunch and my server, Jordan, was attentive and helpful. She really strived to make sure my time there was as perfect as possible. I will return and ask for her!

I went a few weeks ago and the service was really bad. Decided to give them another chance and this time the food came out hot and fast. Very friendly staff and no waiting for a table. The waitress was very friendly and made sure we had drinks at all times. I tried their buy one take one deal and I was very impressed with their Mezzaluna Ravioli with marinara. It was very good and portion size was not bad for the price of 12.99 plus I took another dish of the ravioli home with me. Heating them up the next day didn’t change their taste. It tasted just like it did at the restaurant. I love going to olive garden and will definitely be going back again.

I love eating at Olive Garden. Unfortunately, this location leaves a lot to be desired. Service is slow, wait times are long(because there are not enough servers), and food comes out warm(not hot). Parking is ample and free, which is great. The floor is carpet(gross). Think about all the things that fall on it during a single day(kids, messy eaters, broken dishes), and think about how much bacteria is probably growing in that carpet. I live around the corner from this location, but do not plan to go back.

I went right around eleven when they first opened with three family members. The waiter was a little nice, but he was also annoyed at us by simply asking for refills, something on the menu, more breadsticks, ETC. On top of that the ice machine was broken(which I didn’t understand, don’t you think they would have more than one ice machine?) and the tea was hot. I got the chicken Gnocci soup which had a weird taste to it(I had the same thing at a different location and it was amazing) and the tour of Italy which was just terrible except for the chicken parmesan. I would definitely return, but at a different time… Now I know what not to order!

Could rank one of the worst olive garden branch in the whole system. 1. The whole place stinks like dead fish. That’s a warning sign if you are not going to a fish market. 2. Table, desk dirty and greasy. 3. Food is horrible, ordered Pappardelle Pescatore, spending $ 16.99 for some microwaved thing. All noodles stick to each other, less than $ 3’s amounts of seafood in the plate, super overcharged and gross. I will never ever come back.

they changed the menu yet again. i love there LEMONCAKE it keeps me coming back. the new menu is very visual and u expect things that don ‘t actually appear. the wait time was not long, the food was hot and the staff was friendly and helpful. the menu change is the second in just a couple months obvious as a chain the got flakey people at the top.

I wish I could do two and a half stars. Half the time it’s great, half the time… Not so much. Today I got the grilled chicken tuscano with no onions or tomatoes. The first was made with tomatoes and it took almost 20 minutes to get a correct one due to kitchen errors. The chicken left a lot to be desired. It had little flavor other than the overly sweet sauce and had some fatty bits. The sauce was a little too sweet and the spinach was completely over-sauced leaving it sugary in taste. I’d give the service three stars. The waiter was nice.

I started with the calamari. It was breaded and deep-fried(as one might expect) and came with two sauces — a marinara and a garlicky cheesy sauce. Overall, the dish was not worth the calories; it could have used another minute or two in the fryer as it was rather pale and just was not a stand-out as flavor goes. I love the all-you-can-eat soup or salad and breadsticks that accompany the entres. Never been disappointed with the Minestrone or the salad. I went for the $ 12.993-course Grilled Chicken with Roasted Garlic Alfredo sauce. Wow. This very well may become my regular go-to meal at Olive Garden. I loved that it was served hot, hot! It brings out the garlicky cheesy flavor wonderfully. The three courses include the soup-or-salad, the Alfredo pasta dish, and either a chocolate mousse or one of their dolce(?) shots. No issues with the attentive service.

Hair in my soup!!! We were hungry so stopped in this Olive Garden and each ordered«the soup and salad, NO bread.» We got breadsticks and a bowl containing white lettuce, two black olives, a single slice of red onion, a single slice of tomato, and a bunch of croutons. No soup. We ate some salad that was awash in dressing and after 20 minutes we inquired about our soup. She assured us it was coming and soon brought us each a nice hot bowl. My husband had the kale and sausage soup and said it was hot and tasty. I ordered the soup with red beans and white beans with some little pasta. It was tasty enough but we were disgusted to find a long hair INMYBOWLOFSOUP! Don’t food preparers wear hairnets anymore? Needless to say left the remainder of my soup and will never eat in this restaurant again.

The food is good. Especially, the ‘All you can eat’ Soup and Salad along with the Bread Sticks. But when you come to the entrees — the portions are small and pricey.

Whether you think this is real Italian food or not is pretty much irrelevant. The quality of the food and the service is what I am reviewing here. Today my wife and I ate lunch here. When we walked in the door we were greeted with the Host(not hostess) smacking his gum so hard that he didn’t notice us standing there. The hostess next to him, noticing that he was not going to acknowledge us finally asked us how many and took us to our table. So from that moment I thought that our experience could only go down from there. However I was wrong. The waiter that we had was probably the best waiter we’ve ever had at this place. He was attentive, prompt, and very helpful. He anticipated what we may need before we asked for it. I made it a point to seek out the manager and tell her about how good he was. But I also told her about the gum smacking host at the same time. To which she said, «I’ll nip that in the bud right now.» I gave him a $ 10 tip(cash) on a $ 37 check. So that tells you how much I liked him. The food was good. Same as usual(whether you thinks it’s real Italian or not). Hot and presumably fresh. While I know it’s mostly repackaged everything like Applebee’s is. But it did taste good. So next time you go, ask for«Joe». You won’t be sorry that you did.

I know this place gets a lot of mixed reviews, but I enjoy the pasta and salad. No, its not the best of the best but it hits the spot for sure. The salad is my favorite. I also love the chicken or eggplant parm and the gnocchi is good as well.

Driving from Atlanta to Charlotte, about halfway through I decided that it was time for a break and I wanted a sit-down restaurant. Olive Garden’s sign fit the bill, even though it was 3 in the afternoon which, like my location, was split between lunch and dinner. I haven’t been to OG in at least five years. Surprisingly busy for this time of day, the hostess was able to bring me to a table that looked exactly like the OG I remembered. Rolling seats with arms and smooth wooden tables with vague Italian music playing loudly over the speakers. This didn’t block the noise or chatter from other tables — they just spoke louder, including a table of kids that probably needed to be tossed out. Feeling like a classic, I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. After my order, my waitress brought the bread(yum!) and the salad(yum!). Both also haven’t changed in five years. The salad arrives in a very large bowl and you serve yourself. Lots of lettuce and dressing, two olives, two slices of roma tomato and two pepperocini peppers. ;-) Sadly, the spaghetti was a major disappointment. It was beyond al dente and was too soft. The meat sauce had a burned taste. In no mood to send it back, I suffered through. At least the meatballs and the bread were perfect. I didn’t have dessert or drinks. This kept the price below $ 10, plus tip. I was more than a little surprised to see that OG hasn’t changed since my last visit, 5 years back. With so many competitors in the family-style Italian restaurant space — Maggiano’s, Macaroni Grill and Carino’s come to mind immediately — they seem to be the same place they’ve always been. Looking at their stock ticker(DRI), they are on the up over the last year, so I guess it’s working for them.(And when was the last time you saw finance info in a Unilocal review, eh?) Would I return? Maybe I would and if so, I’ll absolutely have something else.
