Says Mexican but it’s El Salvadorian. The service was impeccable. Papusas were crisp and delicious! I go back there occasionally just to get a cup of their delicious homemade tamerind. You won’t be disappointed. Great hidden gem downtown!

Tried this last night for 1st time. EXCELLENTFOOD! So glad Greenville is finally getting some international options for foodies like us! TV too loud & A/C needs repair, but they are excellent cooks & we went for the food! Highly recommend!

I’ve been in this restaurant before when they had a sanitation rating of 82. That is absolutely disgusting. Despite the fact that people are raving about the food, the atmosphere must come into play in this situation. I would never step foot in this place again.

We had been looking forward to trying this place for a while. Went on a Tuesday for dinner and we were the only ones in the whole place. Our food was made to order so it took a while to get but it was delicious! Seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I got the chicken quesadilla, my friend got the grilled chicken and we had to try a meat pupusa and OHMYGOD was it one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! Every time I took a bite, I involuntarily moaned-it was that good! It seemed just to be a mom and her 3 kids. Mom cooked our food while the eldest waited on us and did her homework. I love seeing this kind of place in Greenville! Good prices and GREAT food!

This is one of my favorite lunch restaurants in town. The food is excellent. The steak torta is my favorite item. The owner and his family work in the restaurant every day, and they are great people.

Pupusas!!! This is the type of authentic, family run little food spot that I miss frequenting in NYC area. Good food. Good prices. Great addition to Greenville.

A more than welcome addition to Greenville. In a town sorely lacking diversity, this place is a light in the dark. The pupusas — available vegetarian or with meat — are amazing. All of the food feels authentic and homemade. The prices are an absolute steal. If you’re not sure what to order, the staff and owner are wonderful and more than happy to help. The selection of imported snacks and drinks is a definite plus. I’ll come back again and again.

In a sea of franchise fast food, this is a welcome break of authentic homemade Salvadorian and Mexican food. This quant family run restaurant is friendly and unique. This is the only place in the county if not in Eastern NC that you can get pupusas, and they are fantastic! The horchata is freshly made and not overly sweet. The menu is simply and the food is very inexpensive. You’ll pay less and get better quality food than any of the Mexican places in town that all seem to have the exact same food. This is definitely a new favorite that I’ll be visiting regularly.
