Montage Cafe

Great homemade salads. Got the three salad sampler (strawberry spinach /​tuna salad) and substituted the third for cheese potato soup. The food was fresh, delicious and cheap! As for the ambiance, I saw people sipping Pellegrino and chatting almost like a Paris café. The building is awesome — cool tin ceiling and historic flair — definitely love the feel. I’m from Cincinnati and was traveling for work, but the nice downtown area of Greenville really impressed me. Places like Montage are so awesome to find when traveling — I would definitely be a regular if I lived local!

Quick stop for lunch while driving through. Food was homemade and delicious. Atmosphere beautiful. And they sell wine!

I personally love this place good local and just a cool place Iv been going here for years pasta and hot food. The owner travels the world on a boat and brings back beer from everywhere.

Thanks to the Unilocaler reviewers we stopped here on one of our travel adventures! We try not to eat at chains when traveling.
The staff was very friendly and the place very clean. The food was scrumptious. I had the twisted ham and the hubby had the Ruben. You also get a side salad, too many to list, chips or a cookie.

Saw the five star reviews so we thought we try it on our way up to Michigan. I definitely agree with all the positive comments. Most of the group went with the salad sampler. They have an incredible amount of different types. A couple of the group ordered sandwiches which were huge! We were very pleased with the food and the price. The service was also excellent.

This is the kind of place you can feel at home bringing family or business to. They are a made to order sandwich palace with a number of salads to accompany it.
The decorations alone ooze class and then you take a bite. That is when you realize you discovered a hidden treasure. Somewhere in your mind you try and grasp the fact you are having a culinary experience of epic proportions.
I have taken everyone I know there at one point or another. Cant help it, its a wonderful establishment.

I got the BLT and it was pretty amazing. They make their own garlic mayo to go on the sandwich and the bread was delicious. You get your choice of soup or salad to go with it, and you also get your choice of chips or a cookie.
Plenty of food! Sandwiches and wraps take up most of the menu, the salads are in a case for you to check out. They have a large selection of bottled craft beer and wine.
The space is big and open with an eclectic style. Plenty of seating! If you like café style restaurants this place is probably for you.

Great sandwiches. Always take home a salad from here. Desserts are outta this world. Served with a big smile. Everytime. Its a treat to myself couple times a month. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AAAA+

I love this place! Try the broccoli apple pasta salad! My only complain was I watched them microwave my panini. Maybe to melt the cheese more?

I haven’t been in here since I can’t remember when. I had a meeting with a bride and groom from the area and suggested we meet here. I had a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant that was delicious. You get a side salad and a cookie or chip with your sandwich. It’s a great place here in Greenville. :)

Good as it gets! Try the Twisted Ham or a Reuben (which is loved by Jerry Springer). The Cox family are great and know how to give the community what it wants!

I love this place. Great owners, workers, and food. I always get the same thing. Salami wami, a salami sandwich with two cheeses and Italian dressing and I always get wheat bread. Then you get two sides. I usually get the potato soup and a cookie or chips but their salads are unreal good. I always enjoy stopping in and checking out the beer and wine collection too. Top notch place a real pleasure to check out.

Oh Montage, how I love thee.
At a ripe age I began visiting your café on Broadway for the fettuccine feta sundried tomato and spinach salad alongside the bacon ranch pasta salad. To my fellow Unilocalers reading this — I know it sounds like a lost list of ingredients, but trust me — pure deliciousness. Along with the coffee shop on the corner, Montage is one of the true gems of downtown Greenville. Seating is plentiful, but this is also a great option for grabbing food to take home for the family. I actually had the spinach fettuccine pasta at my graduation party.
In addition to the eats, Montage is home to fun presents that range from décor to a plentiful selection of wine. It’s one of those places that mosying tends to take place. I’ll just most over here for my drink, oh, hey, look at these soaps (mosy), and would ya look at those wine trinkets… mosy, mosy, mosy. I’m pretty sure time stands still in the Montage.
One last note, venue spaces are not plentiful in Greenville, Ohio but if you’re looking to host a smaller event for say 75 – 100 people, you can rent out the space (and they cater). I will say the floor plan with the raised dining area in the center is a little wonky for floor plans.
