Pitt County ABC Board

Pitt County ABC is a nice little place compared to most ABC stores in Virginia.
It’s super clean, organized, and had everything I needed and more when I came here to get some drinks for the weekend. The liquor was also a little cheaper than in Virginia and DC, which was appreciated.
What was not appreciated was the trouble I had making my purchases at the store. The clerk was giving me grief about my Virginia I.D. that is horizontal. You can get a horizontal license when you’re 21. She was not buying it. I’m 24. She had to call someone from the back to verify my I.D. and the process of purchasing 12 airplane bottles took about 10 times longer than it needed to.
Although it wasn’t a huge deal at the time, it was a little irritating to go through the whole ordeal. If you’ve got a NC I.D. you should be fine in there. Apart from that, this store should have everything you need.

Great liquor stores with excellent prices on Jack Daniels, Bacardi, Southern Comfort and Grey Goose! Very friendly and knowledgable staff… And they always get the latest new stuff!
