Worst service in Greenville. Waitress made eye contact and ran. Bartenders are not knowledgeable and rather avoidant as well… seriously would rather eat at McDonalds and drink my alcohol out of a brown paper bag. I waited tables and bartended for quite awhile and this place takes the cake as far as horrible service. Food is mehhhhhh.

Good atmosphere. Food is basic bar food, with exception of the salad, which is a step above the normal fare. I tried the wings and wouldn’t order them again. Burgers try to be interesting but just tossing fried tomatoes /fried jalepeno slices on top doesn’t make the burger any better. It’s a decent place to watch the game and I end up coming here when I don’t feel like waiting in line for The Scullery.

Winslow’s always disappoints. The best thing they do is their homemade chips. That’s it. Burgers always overlooked. Good is super salty. Below average!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very warm, comfortable, and casual. Our party of 6 arrived around 7 on a Thursday and it was fairly busy, but we were seated almost immediately. Our server was friendly and prompt getting our drinks and food orders. Our table ordered a variety of food(nachos, hot dogs, burgers, salad, Philly cheesesteak, turkey sandwich) and we all greatly enjoyed the meal. My friend said the nachos were«spicy and spectacular». My only addition would be to recommend fries over the chips — they’re so good!

I recommend this place. Came at lunch and wasn’t busy. Service was good. Big place with a neat ambience. Had the Soft Shell Crab sandwich with Sweet Potato fries. Both were great. The homemade chips are good as well, we grabbed an order as an appetizer. Large selection of sandwiches that all looked good. Didn’t know they had a large Tap selection at the bar. Would like to come back and check it out.

Not my favorite local spot in Gville. However, if you are looking for a place that has a wide beer section, you must visit. Service is and food is always different. Mine and my guest fries came out cold… Not a good thing.

Yep, still most consistent food in Greenville. Suggestions: 1. stop serving food in baskets. It is hard to get your sandwich, fries, etc. out of them. Also, it is unsanitary to keep reusing the baskets. Yes, a piece of tissue is put down in the basket, but there have been times when the tissue doesn’t fill the basket and my food has touched the sides of the basket. Yuck! 2. Serve a nice crusty french roll or some other bread with the salads. Hard to just eat salad if you order the entrée salad. Crackers don’t work.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice now both at lunch time. The sandwiches are pretty good but the service has been one of the worst in Greenville that I’ve had. It took nearly 10 minutes from the time we walked in the door for anyone to acknowledge we were even there. After we were seated it was another 10 minutes until our server took our drink order. There weren’t that many people in the restaurant. The wait staff was inattentive and spotty at best. The food overall was good and a decent price. My suggestion… skip the dine in experience(unless you have unlimited time to kill) and get your food to go. Just put your order in two hours in advance.

The burgers are amazing. Have to give it that, but the ~service has been poor every time I’ve went ~got served undercooked chicken wings ~they tried to charge us for them. *Would only recommend for their burgers*

Came again for a Ballast Point Tap Takeover event. Again, beer was good and we’ll priced, but the food was ok at best. The jailhouse burger tasted well, and the sweet potato fries are always astounding. However, we had thier homemade quacamole, and it tasted like pure garlic powder. Not to mention the chips were completely stale. I really, really want to love this place… but they will have to do better in the kitchen. Come to drink and socialize…

The beer selection and atmosphere are 5 star. The food is 3 star. So I give it a 4. Best place to enjoy a great variety of craft beer. Food is not good enough for the price. Some things you would expect home made are are just not. You can tell they came out of a can. If they fix the food quality it would be the best place in town

I visit Greenville 3 or 4 times a year and this is my go to bar. Huge selection of beer, and whoever is behind the bar seems pretty knowledgeable. The food is pretty good. Nothing to highlight, just your typical bar food. Outdoor seating also available.

I’ve Had Better!(Should be the name of this place) As other reviews mentioned. Wait staff is non-existent after your order is taken Literally, after my drink order and food order was placed. I didn’t see the bartender/waitress again til after I ate, wiped my mouth with a scrap napkin I found in the seat… Also, Bottle shop adjacent. Who came up with the prices. $ 16bones for BlueMoon 6pack. haha. Also, whatever genius priced them. 2.65 for single 6 for 6-pack(2.65×6 = 15.90). A tad silly…

Winslows never disappoints, especially when it’s warm outside and you can eat on one of their two patios! One of the best places to eat/drink in Uptown/Downtown Greenville!

The food is not good. it takes forever and is way over priced. they’re out of a lot of the beers they have on tap. I know they get busy, but no excuse for bad service. I waited at my table for 15 minutes before my friend had to ask the bartender where our waiter was. When he came to our table, he asked, «did you guys need something?» YEAH, SERVICE. We had to flag him down several times throughout the night. he acted annoyed with our table for some reason and barely acknowledged us. hes lucky to get the dollar tip he got from me, and I always tip at least 30% of my bill. I do not recommend this place at all. the sad part is that this is not an isolated incident, it happens EVERY time.

Went in with high hopes, but I was very disappointed with our appetizer choice. We got the soft pretzel bites with spinach queso dip. Dip was lukewarm at best & very bland. Tasted like canned cheese! Pretzels seemed to have been reheated & not as soft or fresh as they could be! I will say my mood improved with my sandwich! The B& B was delicious! The Benedictine cucumber spread made the bacon & cucumber sandwich! The warm chips were equally good. Usually you can’t go wrong with bar food, but this bar is definitely better suited to the beer, although my husband really liked his French dip.

I have a real hard time finding good consistent food and drink in Greenville. IMO – Winslows does the best job for me. Cool environment, free of the typical inbred camouflaged hillbilly. Decent staff. Love the back room beer store – very unique. Food is somewhat consistent. Love their home made potato chips. I’m a fan – 4⁄5 stars, for Greenville though – its a 5⁄5

The waitress was great. Very accommodating and understanding. I had ordered the sangria and didn’t like it — she took and back and replaced it with another drink without me asking. Loved the patty melt but co-worker had the b&b and she said it was excellent — wish I would have ventured out and got that. Great atmosphere and prices.

Yeah, not so much. As many posters have already echoed, this isn’t craft beer. 48 taps of domestic and sold-out no-longer microbrews. Okay, so what, one can ignore my snobbery. However, the biggest issue here is the service. The girls are cute and crunchy.(That was FRIENDLY but the Swype autocorrect intervened and sometimes you just gotta let it go…) The bartender must be irritated with me. And everyone else. And life. Whatever. Look, I’m a bartender and a half-good mixologist; I happen to know that malbec is a varietal and I make a killer martini. With GIN, because that’s what you use, unless it’s specified otherwise. «Dude», could you smile? Once? Sorry to inconvenience you with my disposable income… Admittedly, one bartender for a 330 capacity working both service and the bar isn’t enough. Still… I’m probably just too old for this place. But it’s odd, because I would think the hipster cleavage(That was COLLEGE; please see above) … crowd would be LESS tolerant than me in my decrepit apathetic old age. But not is it so. Although: $ 17 for two«craft» beer pints and a Maker’s Mark neat(had to explain«neat» over excruciating loud karaōke) ain’t a bad deal. I didn’t try the food so I make no assumptions. Yes I do. The gal next to me at the bar waited 40 minutes for homemade potato chips. But I hear they were good. Some business models escape me. Probably because I’m old. Or? On edit: vomit in the urinal, vomit on the sidewalk. I am too old. So old I can HOLD my booze. Elsewhere!
