One of my favorite breakfast places in Greenville(when I’m not in the mood to go to Yoder’s). I normally get the hungry pirate breakfast which is normally a good portion size. The prices are very reasonable, services are great. You can get mimosas there in the morning.

I love this place. The quiche if my favorite, it’s new everyday and always so good. Their choice is also very good. I’ve tried some other items on the menu and it’s always pretty good. Anytime my parents or siblings or friends visit me, I try to take them here. It’s locally owned and I’ve never had a bad experience with their staff… I’ve honestly never even had a mediocre experience. They usually go above and beyond. Also, homemade ice cream. Amazing. Love, love, love this place.

Would like to leave a positive review because I would say they have the best coffee in Greenville and the food looks delicious tho I’ve never had time to eat here. I’ve been here four times and tho the pour overs take a long time they are worth the wait. So I was excited to get a cup this morning before my nephews graduation. Go in and they tell us we have to sit at a table in order to get a pour over. Not sure why but hence my negative review.

Fantastic quality food with unique options that are outside Greenville, NC norm of just fried eggs and mediocre breakfast food. Love the cheesy grits. They are so smooth and delicious. Pancakes are fantastic, even better are the pumpkin pancakes or you can add chocolate chips or bananas for something different and even more delicious. Can sometimes be hard to get a table and get in and out but that’s the price you pay for good food with reasonalbe prices in an area where this is not readily available.

Delicious food. I enjoyed the BLAT sandwich and a cup of house made Butternut Squash soup. Both were excellent. Serve was nice but not at his best.

Pricey but good eats. Love the tables. They are chalkboard and they have chalk to draw with.

Food… super fresh. Farm to table. You can taste how fresh it is. Ice cream… home made. Spritzers… delicious. Service is excellent. Small and food is made to order so be prepared to wait on Fridays and Saturdays.

I have been here twice now and I really like it! The food is great, the menu is straight up exhilarating(homemade spritzers, avocado on everything, and homemade ice cream cannot be beat), and the entire staff is so kind. Today we came in for ice cream and it was great. I did expect it to be a little creamier than it was, but it was still very good and very unique. I had a mix of the pumpkin ice cream(which tastes like pumpkin and NOT«pumpkin spice») and the maple syrup-waffle cone flavors. So delicious together. My friend had an espresso chip ice cream milkshake with actual espresso in it and that was fantastic. My boyfriend had the cinnamon chip ice cream and that was decadent. In the past, we have had lunch and I would like to go back in for breakfast one of these days.

The best brunch in the area! Friendly service, they do seem to get overwhelmed easily because of a slow kitchen, but if you have time to sit and chat for a bit, the delicious food is worth the wait! Would recommend for anyone in the area to at least try it out!

Love this place! Food is unique and delicious! I had the grilled chicken sandwich and the green goddess salad. So good. Had a cute waitress with blonde hair who was so personable, attentive, and knowledgable about the menu the first time I went. Will continue to frequent here due to food and service!

The best place for a great breakfast. the sloppy Joe and black bean burger are my favorite. Homemade ice cream is the best… I don’t eat store bought ice cream anymore.

Service 1 star. Never got greeted at the door. We have never been there so was not sure if we get seated, order at the counter… so we guessed. Girls standing at the counter talking amongst themselves too busy to greet. One was the so call shift manager… what a joke. Waitress 1 star for being friendly but forgot EVERYTHING! No straws, no appetizer, no orange for my beer, would have been a bigger tab if food was brought to us and had a beer refill. She did not even know the 5 beer menu. I guess if you hire kids you get kiddy service. Did apologize but apologizes do not feed us. Sanitation 1 star, smelled old and of mildew bar rag smell, bar waitress asked for ice from a fellow waiter who carried a bucket of ice from table to table while delivering food and taking orders… seriously??? Asked for straws and he said we are completely out while another waitress carried 2 boxes from the back. Know your shit before speaking! I guess this is what to expect from a small town. Good luck!

Very good! The owner and name sake spoke with us. He and the waitstaff were very friendly. We ate the firepig sandwich and a coffee milkshake, both yummy. I would eat here again.

The Scullery not having five stars blows my mind. The Scullery is a go to spot for many locals that love creative food and enjoy culture. You can find the owner Matt many days on the grill or our serving others. After wrapping up a delicious meal be sure to grab some homemade ice cream on the way out. Thanks to Matt and his wife for this amazing place.

If you are looking for a quiet, roomy breakfast spot in Greenville on a Saturday morning no one should recommend The Scullery to you. This place is small-ish, average to noisy and there is gonna be a wait. If these are not things that you fancy… Suck it up! The place is so worth it. Saturday morning wait was about 30 minutes for a party of five. We were seated at a over sized four top so two of us squeezed together on one side. There was a little bit of a wait between being seated and having someone take our drink order but not egregious. My family os big on breakfast juices and this is clearly not their strong point. The apple and orange juice were served in Minute Maid singe serve containers pretty much at room temperature. They offered us Ice to pour them over to cool them down but OJ over ice is kinda yucky. The meals however were awesome. I had the Pirate breakfast with awesome pancakes, well made scrambled eggs and deliciously made bacon. Crisp but still a little flexible. One son had the breakfast bowl with grits and loads of other stuff on top and here nearly licked the bowl. The other son had the healthy Pirate breakfast. An egg scramble and french toast order rounded out the table. All were impressed with their selections and gobbled them up with revelry. I would definitely come back if in the area again. The fifth star is elusive because of the juice and overall price. It’s a little pricey for a breakfast place(14 per head by y count including tip and only one coffee for the whole table). You can offset some of this cost with their 10% student discount(with ID), but it still struck me as expensive for breakfast downtown Greenville, NC.

Excellent ice cream and coffee. Very good sandwiches and breakfast. They also use a lot of locally sourced items which I’m a big fan of. So why not a higher rating? The service here needs some serious improvement. Don’t go here anytime you’re on a rush because the service is extremely slow. I can be understanding to a point since this place has exploded in popularity but still, it shouldn’t take an hour to receive a sandwich. I’m typing this as I wait thirty minutes for the next ecu bus since I narrowly missed the bus I had planned to take, thanks to the hour long lunch wait. Most people, whether they’re students who have to get back to class or people who have to get back to work, cannot afford a two hour lunch(I eventually got the food to go thanks to the wait so had I eaten it there, it likely would’ve been two hours plus). I get that this place is busy but if they can’t handle the crowds, they need to either hire more people or train the staff to be more efficient.

My favorite place in town! I love it so much that I’ve unofficially but officially promised myself that I’ll have at least one of everything on their menu before I leave in August.(I didn’t realize that they change their menu seasonally … but oh well.) **Before anything else, make sure not to go during peak hours. Yeah, the turnaround is relatively quick, but you won’t want to stand around waiting for people to finish their meals when the smell of bacon, eggs, and fresh coffee is wafting through the restaurant. The food. I haven’t tried a single bad dish at The Scullery. From their espresso items to their artisan sandwiches to their salads — superb! I’m honestly not a fan of getting sandwiches or salads at restaurants because they seem easy to recreate at home. But damn. The Scullery uses the freshest local ingredients to add a twist to your average sandwich/salad.(Their entrees can get a bit greasy though — so much bacon!) My favorites so far: healthy buzz latte, vanilla chai milkshake(SUGARRUSH), lemon basil/apricot citrus mint ice cream, breakfast bowl, winter and fall salads(SO good), kale salad(the dressing is delicious!), and healthy pirate breakfast. The waitstaff are friendly and accommodating. They come by just often enough to check up on you.

Perfect morning delight! Quality food for a great price. The drinks are well crafted and beyond tasty! Honey bee latte! Milk stout coffee shake with an add shot! oh-wee! So good, they’re bad.
