Ruby Tuesday

Went there on a weekday afternoon with the place mostly empty. Service was good, not spectacular. Salad bar was fair, although some ingredients weren’t as fresh and had been sitting out a while. They were out of several things (salmon, baked squash). Ordered the sirloin with mushrooms, and it was fairly good and cooked to my requested doneness. The person with me ordered the grilled shrimp, which was fair. A bit pricey for lunch but not terrible. Not rushing to go back but wouldn’t steer clear of the place either.

Absolutely terrible experience! We went on a Sunday for lunch. It was empty and we were seated fairly quick. Our server gave us menus and disappeared for 15 minutes and finally came back to take our drink order. He never told us his name. Well, he disappeared again and the bartender wound up checking on us and bringing our drinks. The bartender also took our food order and took care of us for the rest of our stay. The food was ok, nothing to get excited about. You know the kind of food that is precooked and reheated or deep fried. That server should be fired, but we gave the bartender a nice tip. We will NEVER go there again!

Got the Herb Crusted Tilapia with zucchini and salad bar. Perfect piece of fish and the salad bar was healthy and yummy as always. Only wish they had corn at the salad bar. The biscuits also never fail to disappoint. I have been many times and would also recommend the steaks and ribs though they are a bit pricier. Angela is a great server too!

I gave this place a rating of 3 stars simply because of the food and how it was cooked. Let me just say the service was excellent by Miss Ashton. The steak I ordered was over cooked and the grilled zucchini was drenched in oil. The salad bar was great! The manager was really nice and offered another steak or desert. I did not take or want another steak. But… the only two things that were great were the service and the salad bar.

This Ruby Tuesday is more like a cheap bar owned by sailors! The employee that tends the salad bar has a mouth that needs to be washed out with soap. She came out and found a small rock near the salad bar and began to swear loudly in front of customers.

I should know better, but after roughly 17 hours of flying, and our first food option being out of reach we just quickly decided lets try Ruby Tuesday, they’re usually average.
In all honesty, the food is deserving of a three star at least, but the people with me were a resounded vote for a 2 or less as our service was a big factor when including the price of food. For a memo, despite the service we did still leave a regular tip.
When it comes to bad service I usually look for causes as in «is the place smoking busy» and is our server just having one of those days and we should give him/​her a break. You never truly know. I know people shouldn’t be jumping over backwards to please me and I don’t expect it, but sometimes if you’re gonna shell out a decent sum of money for some salad and pasta, I’d hope it’d at least get to me before we’re ready to check out.
The lady who took us to our table pretty much did all our serving. Our assigned waiter, who had actually noted us several times, didn’t bother to approach or ask us what to drink, maybe we gave him stink eye on accident cause we were crazy jet lagged/​tired and he had just had it with our shit, or perhaps he was jet lagged and we were both giving each other stink eye leading to a silent misunderstanding. Ultimately, I’d have been happy to serve myself and not waste either of our time. In fact, we practically did just that. All of us had ordered something from the garden bar sans one entrée and some drinks. The drink orders were taken by our apologetic door hostess and then the entrée was served much longer after we were pretty much full and done. I have a hard time wanting to give this place a bad review just cause of this, but the place wasn’t that busy at the time of arrival, and the food is far overpriced for the quality. It’s generally simple average family dining fare. Nothing special. I’ve had Ruby Tuesday enough to ‘opinion’ that much.

Anyways, nut shell, non-​existent service made me deduct a star from my ‘a-​okay’ three stars, and I have experienced better at Ruby Tuesday’s in the past. Maybe it just wasn’t their night.
Food wise, Pasta was pretty average, burgers & fries, average, salad’s seem pretty fresh and not too bad— I actually enjoy those, but it’s almost $ 9 for a plate and you might get a better deal at Earth Fare near by– Maybe. I don’t know for sure, but it’s the same kind of set up. Cold items like potato salad, pasta salad, broccoli salad etc are kinda weak in the flavor department.

… 30 tables open all over the restuarant even asked manager on duty to seat. He came out and said thank you for patience then disappeared again. He set a bad example of customer service to his employees

The restaurant had no business, which should have been our first clue. The waitress was inappropriately dressed (to say the least). She had enough chest showing to have been rated «R». After requesting a different waitress, we placed our order. We ordered two simple cheeseburgers and fries. The first burger we requested plain (meat, cheese, and bread only) and the second one with no tomato or pickles. Simple enough! The burgers were served with toppings different than we ordered. The new waitress gladly took the burgers back to have them corrected which was fine with us. Everyone is entitled to a mistake now-​and-​then. When they arrived back at our table for the second time, they were still wrong!!! And the fries were ice cold! At this point, we ask for our check and left. We will not be back to this restaurant again!

Really nice place. We stopped here for drinks and appetizers. Ordered the dipping sampler. It was really good.
I had a couple bud lights and enjoyed the food a great deal. It was cooked well and had excellent taste. The sauces that came with the meal were delicious. I tried all sauces with everything and it was all great.

Good service and good meal. Destiny was our server and she was upbeat and very fun. Food was tasty and salad bar fresh.

Came in here on a Saturday evening. Was packed as expected. Had to wait for 30 minutes to get seated.
Ordered the 4 way sampler and grilled chicken with mashed potatoes/​onion rings.
Price is on the higher side but was a good first experience.
My Opinion: Can try.

Every since their makeover, I enjoy going to these restaurants. The staff is very friendly and professional. Someone waits by the door to open it for you, which is rare with chains. The waiter was very courteous and professional as well. My favorite thing about this restaurant is the garden bar. Which ever way you get it, it’s definitely worth it. Everything is fresh. I’ve also had the grilled salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans here. Everything tasted very good.
