Food is absolutely amazing! The hibachi chefs are always talkative, funny, and talented. The only thing I don’t like about the place is sometimes the service in the wait staff can be spotty. Sometimes they never refill your drink or bring you anything but sometimes you get a great server. I would like to see some consistency in the service.

So yummy! Everything Ive had there is great. Ive seen a few new faces in there and always very nice people. The sushi is awesome and so is the fried rice, two of my favorites. Oh! And the house ginger dressing. Definitely a great place!

We were seated quickly. The food and the service were both great! The Hibachi steak was delicious as was the hibachi chicken my husband got. We will definitely be coming back here again. Next time we might even bring the kids.

Had a great time here on Saturday night. I can’t remember my chef’s name sadly, but he was totally entertaining and a great host.(If it helps, he was also the one playing the drums for the birthday people in the restaurant)… Food was great, and so was the service.

I am going to give this 3 stars, with the option to revise at a later date. Ordered sushi to go, but I got a good feeling when I went inside to pick it up. Nice atmosphere overall. I realized when I got home that I was missing a roll, but that was partly my fault for not checking. The sushi itself did not taste super fresh, and my entire family agreed. However, I do not think sushi is the main draw. The hibachi grill was impressive looking, and I believe the food from that end is the main draw. I would not go back for the sushi, but I would be willing to give the grill a shot because it was a clean and comfortable setting.

We love Sakura! The price is cheaper than most hibachi restaurants. There is hardly ever a wait to be seated.

My wife and I frequent this place for their awesome happy hour food specials. Happy hour hibachi ends at 6, but happy hour sushi lasts till 6:30, which we can usually get to in time. Rolls are only 6 pieces instead of 8, but it’s still a good deal and they taste fresh(and i eat the raw stuff too). Will return!

We are regular customers. My kids love it here. Servers have consistently been fabulous. The sushi is top notch and clean. Our favorite place for sushi.

Went here because of a $ 30 Living Social deal. First off, I ordered a Makers on the rocks, it was $ 8.00 for a pretty pitiful pour. Then the salads came, if you want to call it a salad. It was a bowl of lettuce with a sliver or cucumber and a sliver of tomato. The Filet and Chicken hibachi was pretty decent, needed more salt though(pretty unusual for Japanese food). On the bright side our cook was funny and our waiter was attentive.

Unhappy with most recent visit. Host and manager wouldn’t seat us until after happy hour ended although there was empty seating available. Server took a long time to come over for drink order then disappeared for over 15 minutes before coming back with drinks Wife and I ordered hibachi and she also ordered a sushi roll which never appeared even though others at the table got their sushi. When asking the server about it, he replied«yeah the chef is really busy» but both sushi chefs could be seen leaning and talking to each other. Ended up never getting the sushi and not using our living social coupon so I guess we will have to be back again.

Food was great! The chef was fantastic! Ask for Rico! He’s the best! And he didn’t burn my scallops! Everything was perfect! Service was great! Ask for Urioka! The baked mussels are one of my favorites… looks weren’t that appealing but the taste was incredible! Food for thought: garnishes can make or break you! Luckily; in this case, I was just hungry! Only suggestion: more chefs… seems like business is serious.

If you are a fan of hibachi and theatrics, then you probably understand that a Japanese steakhouse is one of the best places to go on your birthday. Luckily, a group of friends and I went to Sakura for our birthday celebrations and had an absolute BLAST. There were eight of us, and luckily that was exactly how many people could fit at our table. I was a little hesitant at first that our chef would not be enthusiastic, but I’d like to think that my school-girl-excited enthusiasm really brought out the entertainer in him. I got sake squirted in my mouth, the flames were giant, and the volcano was wicked smoking. I clapped each time, even though I’ve seen the show dozens of times. Our chef was right on and our food was prepared just right. Prices were pretty standard for the fare and I thought the quality of the food was pretty good. I ordered the shrimp hibachi and my partner ordered the chicken and steak. Both were very good. The only disappointing thing we got was a philadephia roll as an appetizer, which was just all right. The portions of food were quite large, especially the veggies and rice. I had quite a lot of leftovers. Service was good, but our waitress did get a little flustered with the drink orders. And FYI, if you have a larger party, they will not seat you until the entire party is there. Luckily, you can always wait at the bar and drink a bottle of sake or three. The birthday song was VERY enthusiastic and much fun. Everyone at Sakura really helped to make my birthday a great time. I would definitely return here again for the hibachi.

The food was amazing, the server was polite, very attentive, and knowledgable. The menu has your standard Japanese steakhouse, but everything I ate tasted very expensive and flavors were highly developed. The yaki noodles are made in house. The hibachi rice is seasoned with house ground seasonings, not oil and soy sauce. Food presentation is on point. Gyoza was fresher than fresh and cooked to perfection. Nothing was greasy or too rich. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Very clean, décor very modern. I was dressed casual, but this place could go as casual or dressy.

Decided to hit there for a early Sat dinner and had barely a wait. We sat at the hibachi table with 2 other groups. The early bird special was very affordable with the choice of 2(steak, shrimp, or chicken) so we each ordered that. First they brought the soup which was light… as expected. Nothing special, nothing bad. The salad was next which was basically a bowl of nasty iceberg lettuce, a few carrots, and then a glob of dressing. The dressing was good but the salad tasted funky. I took only 1 bite. Then the chef came to warm up the grill. One of the groups at our table were ignoring him when he was simply trying to confirm their order, let alone when he was tossing eggs around. Don’t think he liked it too much. The food was cooked well but the chef took a hint from the ignoring and was pretty quiet the whole time. Was certainly not what I was expecting. I don’t blame him for ignoring the one group but the other two were responsive and he should have carried on with us. My biggest complaint was the noise/crowd factor. The hibachi tables are squeezed into small rooms, separated by a curtain. But 4 tables in one tiny room was way too much to handle. It was loud and noisy and we could barely hear each other while speaking directly into each others ears. Good experience, may go back since they are close but probably won’t.

I came here with my grandmother recently. The server was friendly and the sushi was decent, but nothing special. The pricing was average and what I expected. I wish they had a few menu options for bigger sushi rolls, rather than just the little maki rolls. Overall, pretty alright. I’m stuck between a 3 and a 4 on this one!
