Date: 8÷29÷20149:30 pm Setting: Brought girlfriend to Tablefield’s got served up raw chicken. Even though it was 30 mins to close there is no reason be served straight raw chicken!!! Parmesan chicken with Mac n Cheese side– 1 star With another Unilocal reviewer in mind, I decided to take their recommendation and get the Parmesan chicken with Mac n cheese as a side. Order arrived promptly. Mac n cheese looked old and sloppy, maybe left overs from earlier? Soon as sliced the chicken, my heart skipped a beat. It was as raw as you can get. If I could guess the chicken was only cooked for 1 min, that’s how raw. Could’ve easily been sent to the emergency room upon consumption. Spicy green beans with kale– 2 star Again, leftovers probably. Kale was mushy. Spicy green beans didn’t taste too great either. All in all this was a 1 star trip. Would not recommend for safety of ones health. We got a refund, then left.

WHen it comes to «Bang for the Buck» in Greenville — Tablefields is the deal. Especially when you consider the low prices are for farm fresh organic high quality ingredients. I ate here with my Mom and Aunt and all of us were EXTREMELY happy with our selections. Mom and My Aunt split a pizza then each ordered a salad. THe portions were generous for the price and very Tasty. I had the Shrimp and Grits. and was very pleased as well. The ice tea and lemonade bar is a HUGE plus and they also had a decent selection of wines to go with their food.(reasonable priced as well.) The service was friendly, attentive and girl-next-door likable. I live in the bay area and field to table restaurants are all the rage here. Most of them are very dressy and VERY pricey. Tablefields is a no fuss décor with good, well prepared food. SO it was like taking one of the pretentious field to table restaurants in California and sucking out all the pretension and leaving what makes the idea so appealing. When you add up the fact it is reasonably priced for organic fresh ingredients and it has that bitching’ ice tea bar… and it is a good solid choice. It’s not a romantic place in atmosphere or décor and it has a kind of cafeteria vibe so I wouldn’t say it’s a great place for a date unless it’s a VERY casual one. The restaurant is in a shopping mall and parking is ample, close, and easy to find. All in all… I would go there again GLADLY and have no hesitations recommending it to others. As the 4 star rating says. «Yay, I’m a fan»

My sister and I decided to stop by for lunch last week. The lady that helped us was friendly and helpful as we decided what we wanted to order for lunch. I had the meatloaf and mac ‘n cheese, it was delicious! The meatloaf was tasty and the mac ‘n cheese was some of the best I’ve had that wasn’t made at home… they season it with rosemary, which I love! I would def recommend this restaurant and will be going back!

I’ve been here several times, had both good and bad. Today’s lunch was incredible! Salmon club with a side of kale and spicy green beans… crunchy and tasty! Will definitely return!

I wanted to like Tablefields, we all did, but we just can’t. The restaurant has a great concept, but the execution fails. Portions are small and atmosphere is way-trendy, and they used to offer independent fountain drinks(not coke or pepsi) that were made with SUGAR, not hf corn syrup. Not anymore. Oh, and the sweet tea smh.

Their shrimp and grits are my favorite, along with a quality, fresh side salad. The flavor of this dish here rivals shrimp and grits at several upscale downtown Greenville restaurants, even besting some, at about half the price. And I really like their ice tea options. UPDATE. They are now closed. Sad.

This local fast casual joint has some good eats. The portions are generous. The food is freshly made and handcrafted using local ingredients. It is a very well thought out concept and meets my high expectations for taste and quality. I loved the expansive options with a fountain drink purchase like homemade strawberry, citrus, and peach iced tea.

This place is WONDERFUL for the gluten free eater. There is always a gluten free substitute anywhere from pizza, to sandwiches, and burgers. I would recommend the farmhouse burger if you love a nice meaty burger! The combination of the onion jam and egg, bacon, ham, and beef patty are divine! The coleslaw nicely compliments this meal as well! The prices are so reasonable and almost everything is bought locally. Delish!

I came in not really knowing anything about this restaurant and was impressed. Great mix of food so there is something for everybody. Everything cooked from scratch but didn’t take very long to come out. They also have some quick wraps if you are in a hurry and don’t want an entrée. They have several different AmanziTea selections already brewed. I really enjoyed the strawberry tea. No risk checking this place out!

If you are hungry for a yummy grilled cheese and coffee or homemade lemonade, Tablefields is the place to be. My tastebuds are in heaven! Then I went back for the bread pudding with an Amaretta sauce. The atmosphere is casual and laid back. This is a great quick stop when you’re hungry for bite of homemade food. Best of all locally sourced food made from scratch. This restaurant also offers dinner entrees and they have a beer and wine bar with daily specials. I will definitely return and bring many friends with me.

Bleh… I hate that I have to give this place a two-star rating after the great visit we had back in January, but this reflects our lunch experience yesterday. It’s just not a good sign when a place is busy but your food is ready even before you make it to your table. It was either going to be pre-made or thrown together quite quickly. The asian chicken salad was definitely pre-made, with the cold bowl just having been taken from the fridge and cold dry chicken on top. Suggestion: chill the bowl and salad ingredients but top it with warm, juicy chicken and not end pieces with fat and/or skin. The other ingredients in the salad — peppers, edemame, mandarine oranges, peanuts and the lettuce — were all fresh and tasty. The soy-based dressing was a bit too salty. The pot roast entrée my husband ordered was like an open-faced sandwich served with mashed potatoes. The serving was smaller than we thought it would be for the price and it just didn’t look freshly made. And my hub didn’t care for the blue cheese sprinkled on top of the potatoes. It’s just disappointing to pay $ 20 for lunch and walk out still a little hungry. We’ll keep our future visits limited to the bread pudding, which when tried previously was out of this world good.

Easy stop right off the highway. Food was fresh and they seem to put an emphasis on local sourcing. It’s design is that of a casual café. We sat at a table in front of the fireplace. The soda fountain serves Boylans instead of Coke or Pepsi. Yeah for that choice! They also had Izze in a bottle as well as some other beverage choices. The Stout Burger was very good. The soup special was potato carrot. I found it on the salty side, but it still had a nice flavor. The pimento cheese in the sandwich of that name was clearly homemade and very well-done. I had a soup and veggie side combo, and chose green beans as the side. There were lots of ‘em, and they were crisp and not overcooked. Prices were quite good, with lunch specials running about $ 6.99 We all commented that the signage in the restaurant was very helpful. They tell about how things run(take a buzzer and wait til they call you to collect your tray, bus your own table, etc.) in a subtle yet funny way. We also liked the uniform T-shirts with the farmer and a giant table fork rather than a pitchfork!

I had a salad. The greens had not been thoroughly washed and actually CRUNCHED with sand and soil as I ate! I ended up spitting out the salad into my napkin. The gravel and grit were visible on the greens. I pointed out the contamination to the manager and he gave me some ambiguity about how their greens are all locally grown. I pointed out to HIM that even local fields can have e. coli contamination and that he needed to assure that his prep staff was thoroughly cleaning fresh produce. He gave me two $ 5.00 coupons for subsequent visits. Four hours later I was running a fever of 102 with chills, nausea, diarrhea, and severe abdominal cramping. I believe it was e. coli food poisoning. This lingered for weeks and required two hospitilizations. As for the $ 5.00 coupons… I threw them out when I returned from the second stay in the hospital. I cannot«stomach» the thought of returning. And for the record, I am a National Restaurant Association Certified ServSafe Manager Instructor and Proctor. I know some sanitation!
