Spa at Delamar

My fiancée and I had meant to book an appointment at the spa during our stay at Delamar last Valentine’s weekend; however, there was no availability back then. We tried again this time and were able to successfully book an appointment on Valentine’s night. The medium-​pressured massages we received were satisfactory and the service was excellent. I never once felt any discomfort, and the music and ambiance certainly added to the experience. Our specialists were quite polite and accommodating and gave us a very welcoming experience. We also received glasses of champagne after our session along with chocolates. We definitely look forward to our next spa session at the Delamar.

I am visiting the Delamar Hotel, and a friend who lives locally, told me that she uses the spa regularly. I just finished an Ultimate Facial there and I cannot believe my experience. First I lay on this mat, that the therapist showed me had heated crystals, and once I lay down, I felt like I was glued to the bed. Then my facial started and I had an experience like never before. I asked for the Ultimate facial, because that’s what my friend has in town. There’s a reason that they call it «Ultimate». I am not sure what the machine is that they used, but I look ten years younger — she applied a collagen mask, that was live collagen, something I had never experienced before and massaged all the pressure points while this was on, applying cold pressure, she said to aid in the absorption. There was no skimping on products — I felt like I was being marinated, and my skin absorbed it ALL. The therapist, Bohumelia, didn’t push products on me at all — but just asked me what my concerns were, and proposed a simple series of products. She gave me samples to try but when I got back to my room and saw the results I bought EVERYTHING, and more. I can’t wait to try more treatments, the menu is quite elaborate, and they even have a machine for the body. Not sure how that works, but if it has the same effect as my face, I might move to Greenwich. It is definitely worth coming to the hotel for a treatment!

When the Ritz couldn’t fit us in we looked for another nice hotel figuring it would have a decent spa. We really struck gold on this one. The place is small, on the second floor of the hotel. The service they provide however is five star. They are polite and accomodating. I had the deep cleansing facial with Bozena. She is amazing. She gives a great head and neck massage and my skin has never looked better right after a facial with extractions. No redness at all. Their line of products really work well with my skin. Now be prepared, there is no plunge pool, sauna, or any of the extras you get elsewhere. If what your looking for is a place to spend the day in the relaxation room, etc., look elsewhere. However, if your looking for a good facial from an experienced esthetician, this is the place. Overall an excellent experience. I will definitely be back.
