So YUMMY. I love the environment and vibe in this restaurant. We got the fish tacos and filet, which were both amazing. The service was great and I will definitely be coming back.

Food is pretty good but service is terrible. I have called several times for pickup and was placed on hold for 5 minutes, called back and was on hold for another 3 until I gave up. That happened twice in the same month. Then more recently called for a pickup around 2:30 on a Sunday and they wouldn’t start my order for an item until 3pm because it was still brunch. Other times I’ve eaten in the restaurant and have had to walk to the booth to ask for a check. Wish the service was better. I’d return much more frequently.

Gingerman was fantastic. Our server was quick and so sweet. Beers on tap were excellent, try the smuttynose brown! We shared a sandwich and a pretzel and the house sauce was delicious. The only negative thing about this place is the crowd, I found it pretentious and rude. My only suggestion would be to fix the seating situation– it’s hard to find a place to sit and eat and many tables are taken by people just having a drink.

Ginger have improved menu and quality of food substantially in the past year… also ok healthy dishes selection. Pizza above average. Great beer selection and a great bar with stuff with low turnover, which makes the place a favorite local bar.

Sweet cozy charming pub, with great ambiance and a fireplace. Little lights and wreath decorations, festive for the holidays … staircase upon entering. Good place for drinks if you’re in Greenwich

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. Very busy– lots of families and small children. Service was polite and efficient. The food was good and the portions were large. We split the pulled pork sliders, baby back ribs, tuna tartare, and crab cake. Left satisfied, but nothing was particularly memorable.

This pub has been a staple in Greenwich for many years. Over the years many great items have come and gone from the menu — the goat cheese balls, still can’t believe they are gone. The beer selection is always good and offers the appropriate glass it should be enjoyed from. The staff with the exception of one tenured bartender that has been there for years could use some lessons in customer service. Overall, this is a good spot for a quick drink on the way to somewhere else.

Very very overpriced. A burger will cost nearly $ 20, accompanied by fries that are unremarkable. The waiter service was lackluster at best. I liked the atmosphere: ½ Quant, ½ hoity-toity. Fits right in on the Avenue in Greenwich. I wouldn’t mind paying these higher prices if the food was higher quality. Would I go again? If it was on your dime.

The Ginger Man is a solid spot in Greenwich. The fireplace is a nice touch to go along with a fantastic beer and dinner menu. It’s also reasonably priced, which is great because the last girl I brought there basically used me for dinner. I’ve wasted money on better though… if she really wanted to fleece me she should have demanded Capital Grille in Stamford. That’s the last time I try to date someone I didn’t meet online. Nice guys may finish last, but as someone once said, «there’s plenty of fish in the sea». Speaking of, there are also some solid seafood options on the menu if that is what you’re looking for. My heart may have been broken that night, but my spirits were not. I’ll be back with a new date soon, and even if I get used again, at least my stomach will get what it desires.

Back in July, ordered fish and chips and was totally disappointed. The coating was greasy and not golden but brown. One of the fish pieces was clearly under cooked. And the slaw that came with tasted simply of vinegar. Oh and the fries, couldn’t eat them.

Love this spot in Greenwich! Charming little pub with great food and a huge drink selection. Food-wise, they have something for everyone. I have tried two of their salads and have been impressed by their size and variety. Tonight I tried the chopped salad which I would very highly recommend! The servers were friendly and quick and the location is ideal for a night out for dinner and some shopping downtown.

Pea soup was outstanding. Not a drop left in the bowl! Ahi tuna sandwich was exactly how it was described(I recommend getting a side of the Sriracha scallion aioli to dip your sweet potato fries). My friend had the turkey burger… Said it was the best he ever had! I was only traveling through but will definitely stop in again given the chance!

Great find on Greenwich Ave. Classic Irish tavern atmosphere but with class. Sophisticated menu and GREAT beer selection on tap and bottled with some local craft brews as well.

The Ginger Man is located on Greenwich Avenue, and they have the best grilled lamb burger! The burger was grilled perfectly as requested at medium. It was topped with pickled onions, a thick slice a feta cheese, and mint greek yogurt on a toasted brioche roll(pictured). It was served with fries. This meal was awesome! He had the Ginger Man Burger which was topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheddar cheese on an english muffin. This was really good! We also had a bowl of clam chowder — and we agree — it was the best we’ve had in Connecticut so far. The Ginger Man has a tavern feel with many selections of tap beers.

We loved this place! We took our kids here for lunch because my husband HAD to have fish and chips and they were perfect! I had a really refreshing white wine sangria and the lamb burger. Our girls shared the shredded chicken quesadilla and it was a little spicy for them but VERY good.

Upscale bar food. Everything I’ve ever ordered has been delicious. Lovely bartenders that know the townies. Several cute nooks and pretty spaces in the dining area. Back room with fireplace is very cozy in the winter. Upstairs is great for parties. Solid staple on the ave.

Nice and cosy place. Food was above average, great hamburger, pizza, pork sliders and ahi tuna wrap. Tuna tartar was bland though, it was missing any seasoning although the produce was very fresh!

I visited with my boyfriends family, and was really excited(I think mostly because I love the name). We had a reservation, and were greeted and seated promptly after arriving. The Ginger Man has a good selection of beers, though our server was not knowledgeable about what we should order based on our tastes. I expect a beer place to have a understanding of what they have available. The food was not good. We had an appetizer(spicy guacamole) that was just tasteless, and my ahi tuna entrée was bad. Overall, the restaurant décor is nice and pleasant. It seems like a nice family spot, as the make accommodations for large groups and young children. I wish the food was better.

This is a great spot on greenwich ave to sit back and have a few beers with your coworkers. They must have atleast 100 beers available here… ranging from your typical stuff that you can get at the local supermarket to some hard to find craft beers. The variety can get overwhelming but the waiters can usually give you a good recommendation based on your personal preferences. The food here is what you’d expect for a bar, good stuff but nothing«gourmet».
