The takeout food from their restaurant is excellent. They give generous portions for a reasonable price. Malai kofta and shahi paneer are my favorites. The grocery store is missing some obvious items which are available in the other Indian grocery store across the street.

Have you ever had food somewhere and felt the cook put in his/her heart and soul to make the food taste good — that’s how i feel when i eat here. If you are craving for some home made Indian Punjabi food you needn’t think twice. The hot paneer parathas, ghobhi, aaloo, mooli parathas just take me back home! Snacks like bhel puri, aaloo tikki, samosa tikki are very well made. And the Samosa’s — there’s always a queue for them. You get free awesome tasting Jalebi with the Thali! :)

What a cute little shop nestled inside this local Indian grocery! Not only was the establishment clean and super organized, but also had clear pricing and friendly staff. My roommate and I were on a quest to shop for Indian attire, and we definitely found what we were looking for here. We had a helpful sales lady who wanted nothing more than to share her culture with us(ulterior motives, schmulterior motives) and play dress up with us. In the end, we left with satisfied purchased, as well as custom size charts so we knew what fit us if we happened to go to another shop. Great hospitality, affordable pricing, guaranteed return.

Well-lit and well-stocked, this Indian grocery store is worth a visit if you cook Indian food yourself, want to purchase Indian snacks(many homemade), or enjoy a cheap, delicious lunch. I have had two very pleasant lunch experiences at Indian Bazaar this week after discovering that they have a small, all vegetarian mostly Punjabi style café in the back. There is a written menu but they do not have all of the items everyday, so just ask the staff what they’re serving. Kind of like Yats only you need to ask. Also, if you have dietary restrictions, the staff is very attentive to what you can and cannot have. If you are vegan, just let them know that you can’t have dairy and they’ll take care of you. The owners are friendly, helpful, and extremely hospitable. Note, if you are used to going to an Indian buffet or a standard Indian restaurant, the portions are very different here. Expect to have a lot more bread(naan, roti, puri, chapati, or others) and a lot less of your entrée.
