Main Street Grill

I’ve had 3 different wood fired pizza all were great. My wife had the chicken Philly Flatbread and enjoyed it. The owner came by and talked to use for about 10 minutes. The wait staff was also very good. Great local restaurant.

Had the club melt. It was terrible. Forced it down because I hadn’t eaten all day and I was starving. The servers are awesome and as usual Brandy was awesome (the bar tender). But had to give 2 stars for the food. It surprised me because usually their food is really good. I think it was the vinegar based hot sauce on the melt that did it.

Love this place as a local pub. Craig does an amazing job at food (try the wood fired pizza) and has a great choice of locals on tap. A must try!

We were on the south side house sitting for a family member and picked this place based on Unilocal.I ordered the Ruben and my wife got a hamburger and fries. We were both very pleased with the quality and quantity of the food. The waitress was great and attentive to our table. It was a Friday night so the noise level was a little high but not a big problem. We will come back again.

I have wanted to try this restaurant for a while and hadn’t had the opportunity. Today I met my step-​daughter there for lunch. So good ! We each ordered a different kind of wood fired pizza and shared. I’ve been to Italy and a few times and this is as close as I’ve had to authentic Italian thin crust pizza where it’s all about the freshness of the ingredients instead of overpowering thick crust. I’ll be taking my husband there first chance we get. We have a B&B in Franklin — The Flying Frog Bed and Breakfast — and last weekend four of our guests had lunch there and came back raving about how good their food was — one had a chicken tender salad, another a burger, one a chicken sandwich and the fourth the pizza. Our waitress was great also and the owner came out and let us try one of the Italian meats before we ordered and came back again to make sure we liked our pizzas. Definitely the best wood fired pizza I’ve had in years.

Just tried the new fire grilled pizza and it was delish. Never a disappointment to eat here. Highly recommend!

Every aspect of this lil local pub impressed us. The service was great, nice craft beer selection and the food was delivered quickly and was delicious! The owner was on site and he spent some time chatting with us about local brews and his vision for the restaurant. He even offered to let us test out one of the newest features — a brick oven pizza, which won’t be available on the menu until next week. We were too full from our initial order to take him up on his offer but what a great local gem to offer over the top customer service, on point pub grub AND awesome fire cooked pizza! If you’re in the area — check it out! You won’t be disappointed.

Why did we wait so long to come here. By far the BEST Buffalo Chicken sandwich and fish N chips we have had. Everything is hand breaded and cooked to order. The chicken was very thick & juicy cooked to perfect temp. We opted to upgrade to fries and onion rings and were not disappointed. Definitely got our money’s worth. The service was very friendly and attentive. GREAT beer list and love all the local choices of draft beer. Although a drive, we will be back! Want to try the specialty flat bread pizzas.

Fried tenderloin with Jamaican coleslaw were both really good. Wife got the black bean burger which she enjoyed along with some excellent onion rings.
A very fine selection of brews on hand, of which I ordered the local Dorian Coconut Stout on draft.
Excellent little outside seating area, and great service.

I really enjoy this local bar and restaurant. Brandy the bartender does a terrific job. She is always friendly and welcoming. She is an asset to the business. Cocktails are great, food is good. I would like to see some new menu items but I do enjoy the restaurant.

The bartender with purple hair has a major staring issue. I have never felt so uncomfortable at a restaurant. I couldn’t even finish my food. It’s like she wanted to punch me. And she doesn’t know how to make a margarita!

Food was delicious! Loved the French Onion bowl of soup!!! Kids loved the Cheese Sticks and Patty Melt was great, too! Clean inviting place and servers and owner were extra nice and friendly! Nice change from some of the restaurants back home! Lol

We enjoyed a great lunch at Main Street Grille when we were visiting our future home of Greenwood. It was a very nice, comfortable place to have some good ol’ diner type food. The big «however» is that the food quality is way higher than diner food. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area.

Fantastic food, reasonable prices, great friendly and knowledgeable staff. We will be back!

I tried the tenderloin since it was talked about several times in reviews. It was not as big as the pictures I saw but it was good. The fries were terrible, so the bartender offered me another side. I chose the baked beans which tasted like Bush’s from a can. Not as bad as the fries but still disappointing.
The bartender was very nice and the place appeared clean. Not sure if I will return the next time I’m in town.

I really like this place. I wouldn’t think to eat here because the location is kind of inconvenient to get to and the inside is not anything impressive but the food is really good and I like their appetizers. It’s classic bar food but I really like it here.

The pretzel rolls are to die for! I highly recommend them. I also had a burger and fries and it was great. My friends had the fish and it was huge!
A great place to eat in Greenwood.

Came here before a wedding reception for a couple drinks. They had a great group of micro brews that our entire party tried. The owner popped by the table to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction and even talked about my hometown baseball team.
We decided to grab some appetizers. The pretzel and sticks and beer cheese were great but I loved the pickle chips. I’ve had them in numerous bars across different states and these rate in my top 3. Great place and I’ll be back when I come to town for Gencon.

This place is a winner! If I lived closer, it would be in the regular rotation.
Tonight was the second time I’ve been here.
The first time I had potato skins appetizer and a steak salad (black & Bleu maybe? Can’t remember the name) but both were great as was the service.
Came again tonight, and had loaded potato soup and the pub melt appetizer. Between the two, I was feeling full, but was wishing I as ordered a bowl instead if a cup if the soup. Kyle, the server, was attentive, nice enough to talk to, and made sure my cup was never empty.
I don’t understand why this place isn’t hopping. It’s clean (menus, tables, booths, floors and even the bathrooms are nearly impeccable) the food is great, cocktails are spot on, lots of TVs for the game and everyone is nice. Wish there was more places like this where I live!

I went to this local bar for the first time last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and delicious bar food. Usually I don’t expect much from bar food, but the dragon fingers and chicken asparagus sandwich were exceptional.
I went here tonight, and again, had wonderful service and above average bar food! I am a picky eater and the menu options allowed for everyone’s favorites. There were also more beer choices than I had expected!
Overall, I was delightfully surprised by the service, food, and local company of the place!
