If you are in search of a florist, please look no further. My family has worked closely with Rosemari at the Greenwood McNamara location for years. Rosemari has such an artistic eye for detail and always provides outstanding service. When my now husband and I decided to get married in his hometown of Lake Forest, IL, we originally thought it would be unrealistic to use an Indianapolis-​based florist. However, after trying to work with a Chicago-​based florist, we decided that we absolutely had to work with Rosemari. She sat down with us only months before the wedding to help create and define our overall look for the big day. Furthermore, Rosemari worked within our budget. No hidden fees… no unexpected costs! She even provided us with a complimentary preview of what the table arrangements would look like at our reception.
Thanks to Rosemari and the entire McNamara staff, the flowers and decorations at our wedding were absolutely breathtaking! I would not have changed a single thing! Rosemari listened to what we wanted and managed to far exceed our expectations. She created an atmosphere fit for royalty.

I stopped in McNamara Florist after noticing all the Christmas décor inside. I’d always thought it was just a florist, and since I’m rarely buying fresh flowers, never went in. What a surprise! This place has some beautiful fresh flowers and arrangements– centerpieces, wreathes, etc– as well as beautiful holiday décor that’s a tad upscale.
The employee working when I stopped in on Sunday afternoon was very friendly and helpful, without being overbearing. I was particularly impressed with the size of this store — it’s much larger inside than what I’d expected from the outside! At this time of year, you’ll find room after room of beautifully decorated Christmas trees, and all the ornaments and other trimmings to make your home beautiful. Each room/​tree had somewhat of a unifying theme (blue, white, animals, mulicolor, etc), so it it makes shopping for the particular colors, etc that appeal to you most easier.
I only went home with a cardinal figurine — my mom collects different pieces of bird décor, so I thought it would make a nice addition to her Christmas presents. But I also grabbed a catalog of their fresh flower arrangements for the holiday season and WOW are they beautiful! I’d love to receive them as a gift, but probably wouldn’t spend the money to buy them for myself — they’re beautiful, but a little out of my price range for fresh flowers that won ‘t be nearly as pretty in a couple of weeks!
