The food was great. The prices very reasonable. The best part was the service. Everyone was so friendly and took care of you. You don’t wait for anything.

This place has been steadily going down over the years. The food is not good, the place is filthy, and the service is questionable. The waitress put all four glasses on the table by holding them near the lip instead of on the side. later she was observed picking her nose and digging in her hair. I won’t be back!

This is the BEST Shoney’s location I’ve ever been too and I’ve been to many!!! Everything was fresh and they continued to replenish the food before it was even out. The servers came by frequently and were very pleasant always with a smile. The establishment was nice and clean including the restrooms and this was not a brand-new store. It’s right next door to a new Holiday Inn Express so it’s good for travelers. Also it’s right off the Interstate I-55 in Mississippi. I’m on a long road trip in The South. If I go this way again, I will be sure to stop at this location. Yum Yum!!!

I’ve eaten at this Shoney’s plenty of times over the past few years. Most recently was for a birthday celebration. We were able to reserve the big table in the back of the restaurant for ten people. The buffet was good though admittedly I only got just a few of the food on it that night. The roast was alright and the dressing was good as was the salad. Though I didn’t get either this time around, I’m also a huge fan of the turkey club and slim jim sandwiches.

Consistently good food any time of the day or night. Shoney’s is typically a step above Denny’s, and the breakfast bar is what really makes Shoney’s shine. Unlimited portions of pancakes, french toast, grits, biscuits & gravy, sausage, bacon, ham, etc. etc. are divine. At some point late in the morning, the breakfast bar becomes a damn good salad bar. I’ve never seen the transformation take place, but I know it happens… perhaps via magic.
