Done. Don’t go here, ever, not ever. So done. 1 star is too many! I’ve tried to be patient, I’ve tried to understand you are busy, but when I’m paying every month for a service & for prescriptions, I expect better. Train your vets to actually care, train them to do their jobs… the service does not end after the wellness plan enrollment. It’s a shame… it could have been good. Never again. The clinic on 82^nd is okay, but this place is a joke – I only went here because of an emergency. Shame on me & Shame, Shame on you!
A happy day for me will be one in which your sham clinic closes for good.
**And, no, don’t bother with your contact info as a show of «good customer service», I have nothing else to say after this many chances (way more than listed here!) & a heck of a lot of understanding – no one at this «hospital» in Greshaml should be allowed near animals, period!**

Normally, service is excellent. Not today. I called to get a refill for my dog’s pain medicine and to see about an appointment because his eye has a growth and it was oozing and watering. He was obviously in pain. I had one pain pill left. Because I had to call another office to get an estimate on removing a cancerous tumor, I was able to get an appointment for the next day at 4:30 PM. They called wanting to cancel my request for the refill because I was being seen the next day. I explained it was over 24 hours and I had one pill left. She said she hoped the doctor would be able to get back to me because they were swamped. Well they didn’t and I will now have to listen to my dog whine for 12 hours until I can get to his appointment tomorrow. How hard can it be to order a refill for pick up?

I like to say for a healthy pet its a great place to have checkups but for other issues that can be other than a sneeze I’d recommend taking your pet to a VCA or a professional pet hospital. Banfield has some inexperience doctor making some inaccurate calls which will make you dig deeper in your wallet. We were told to have a cat spend the night and purchase medication before the blood results came back and it was a premature call on a certain doctor there. We had another similar situation with the same doctor and I hate to say it but she needs to be careful with her assumptions and suspicions she did not have enough hard evidence to be closely accurate. Don’t get me wrong there are some good doctors at the Gresham location.

I began bringing my dogs to Banfield Pet Hospital in Gresham about 6 months ago, when the prices at my local vet were high even for minor visits such as for an ear infection.
Yesterday I brought my black lab in for a full checkup including an examination regarding the arthritis in his hind legs. The vet, Dr. Set Vredenburg, was very sensitive, had great communication skills, and took his time examining Smokey. He did not try to sell me on x-​rays, which I appreciated. He came up with a workable plan that was affordable. I asked him whether the medication he was prescribing had any contraindications for a dog of Smokey’s age, and he replied he’d doublecheck online.
I had previously signed up for Banfield’s Wellness Plan, because although there’s an initial upfront cost, it offers more services at a better cost in the long term. I left paying about what I had anticipated, which was reasonable, given the exams and medication.
This morning, someone from Banfield called to check up on Smokey’s status. This was an additional customer service effort that I hadn’t anticipated. I’m really glad they’re open on Sundays, when most vets are closed.
