Fred Meyer One Stop Shopping

Fred Meyer officially lost a customer today. I bought boots for my daughter for Christmas, however I got the wrong size. She went there to exchange for a smaller size. She didn’t take a receipt with her, however she only wanted a different size. They told her that they could not exchange for a different size without the receipt. They were only willing to give her a store gift card for the lowest sales price in the last 90 days. She only wants a different size of the exact same thing! Will never shop here again!

Although many their prices are higher than the competition, The store is always clean and staff is friendly.

I love this store for the most part but apparently the cashiers have never been trained how
to bag, especially the cloth bags. Besides most cashiers over packing them so they are too heavy, it breaks down the bags that we paid good money for .
I had one today and only took in two bags so guess the cashier was trying to save money for the store so instead of using a store bag for the extra items, I had one bag that must have weighed 25#…too cheap to use a store bag for the overage ?
Maybe I should just leave the cloth bags in the car and ask for paper every time I shop. As, it is, we get no incentive to use our own, that we paid for …
Fred Meyers, please train your employees how to bag the cloth ones. Bulk vs weight is not the same… think about the person carrying that bag after they leave the store and stop being so cheap by not using a store bag for the extra items that weigh too much
By the way, the alleged lower prices are just not so. Every store has its sales but the bottom line is the everyday prices and Fred Meyers are still pretty high on many items.

I love this Fred Meyer. The staff is super approachable and very friendly. My favorite person there is the gentleman in the meat department. He’s always friendly and willing to go the extra step to help. The selection is good. Sales are always fun to check out. And the seasonal displays are prompt and relevant. The only thing or department I dont like at any Fred Meyer is the electronics. But ya can’t win them all.

I’ve seen this Fred Meyer change a lot over the years. It still has a good feel and a great selection of items. The pricing is not excessive for how convenient it is to shop and it has one of the best prices on gas around. It also has plenty of staff and they are always willing to help. This is one of my favorite Fred Meyers and even if I moved out of the area I would probably swing by on my way to Mt. Hood.

Fred Meyers had always been a great go to store but tonight I found a whole new appreciation for them. Code Adam call rang out from the overhead for a little girl gone missing. I have never seen so many people rush out from the break room and employees all over run to the doors. As a mother of three my heart sank to see such concern. Everything turned out alright but I will tell you, they made a lifer out of me. Thank you for making me and my family feel safe.

EVERYTIME I come here the gas service gets worse and worse. I’m currently supposed to be getting $ 20 regular. Someone want to tell me why TRACEY (it’s a guy) is FILLING my car up? I know I talk quiet sometimes. But I don’t know anyone who confuses fill with $ 20???
The time before this the female who works there, always wears a beanie and mirrored sunglasses talked to me through my passengers window… I don’t know if I’m just freaking out or what, but I feel like that’s really impersonal, and none of my passengers business what my rewards number is.
I need a new gas station before I freak the freak out on these people.

This is our Freddy’s. The staff is a mixed bag, mostly good! One of our faves is Larry at U-​scan; he’s a great guy to see on a daily basis at the grocery store.
Today we bought fresh trout from here, and we only ever come here for our produce (plenty of organic selections of fruits and veggies).
They even offer clothing, housewares and auto supply. Talk about one stop shopping.

I typically love These stores. I’ve never had an issue but today must be a full moon or something. I got a pair of boots for Christmas and called to see if I they he a certain size I wanted to try. Both the woodvillage and gresham store were incredibly put out by my request for them to look for the boots. The woodvillage store just automatically told me they didn’t carry the specific brand. The Gresham store tried tot ell me Fred Meyer doesn’t carry what I’m looking for. Interesting because that’s where my cousin bought them and the tag on the box says Fred Meyer. I asked if she could look through a computer system to find them. She informed me she would have to go to the stock room to do that. I told her I would wait. Finally after getting on the computer she found that Freddie’s does indeed carry the and, shocking, and that the division store had plenty. I called the Division store and the girl was incredibly sweet and helpful. I hate to have to search around for helpful sales associates but at least Division seems to have one on staff today.

Staff is always familiar, they maintain their staff for a long time. they are always helpful and friendly.

With fuel prices eating away at my wallet I’m sooo happy Freddy’s finally up’ed there fuel rewards program. For every dollar you spend in store they give you 1 fuel reward. Used to only be able to get a max of $ 0.10 off each gallon — now you can get up to $ 1.00. That makes my gas $ 2.50 a gallon!!! Can’t remember the last time I saw that at a pump and I’ll be shopping here more just for that reason alone. The Store also has a great deals — just gotta watch for them.
In addition to the fuel it beats the lines and crowds you’ll experience next door at WinCo. All i can say is I love self check out stands… in and out so much quicker than those checkers

Close to home and sometimes it is just fast to shop there then fight the crowds at Winco next door.

Gresham does not have a lot of choices for finding organic anything, yet in a pinch Freddies is one of the supermarkets that are on it out in East Co.
This one in particular actually has a pretty decent organic section. They’ve got about 5 freezer doors full of goodness, as well as 2 small aisles full of more organic choices. You can also find a good portion of organic veggies/​fruits here as well which I choose while waiting patiently for the farmers markets to bring us local food.

Never lets me down. Favorite place to shop by far…

Fuel here is always a deal! Expect it to take 10min more than any other gas station. The attendants are always friendly and work hard to keel up.

Clean and easy to find things

I just took a job out in Gresham. For lunch, I took a trip to this Freddy’s to get lunch options to please the masses. The options to be found in this grocery store didn’t please anyone and the amount of time it took for us to just get in and out was ridiculous.
The juice and natural food selections were lacking.
Our sandwich order took about 45 minutes in the deli.
The service was unfriendly.
This is not what I expect from Fred Meyer.
