Riegelmann’s Appliance

Did not tell me about installation costs up front. Told me the entire price included a trim kit and install. Installation people got to my place, installed the oven and microwave, then wanted almost $ 400 for installation. I will stick with Lowe’s or Home Depot from now on. Here I thought I would support a local store. The owner did agree to compromise on the price of the install but still … tell me UP FRONT there is an installation charge, not later!!! I was really upset that the guy wanted almost $ 400 for an hour’s work. If I had been told up front that’s what it was going to be … fine, but to be hit with the bill later … not good.

We had another fantastic experience with Riegelmann’s Appliance repair today. We were getting water on the floor from our fridge, and when John came out (right on time!) he immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly and efficiently.(It was a manufacturer’s problem.) He cleaned up after himself as usual and left his working area spic and span.
We love that Riegelmann’s services what they sell and have such a terrific service department. Thank you, John!

These guys were great. They fixed both my problems with the freezer and fridge. They were fast with the repairs and had the parts to replace what they needed to. Best of all the price for the job was good.

These guys are great. They don’t nickel and dime you like so many of the other appliance stores and big box stores. We only go to Riegelmanns for all our appliance needs. It is nice to deal with a local family business.

I bought an Induction top double oven from Riegelmann’s. The delivery guys showed up on time and were extremely careful Nice! Several months later I started having problems with the oven on top. Every time I called, they sent a repair man out. They replaced the control panel twice, to no avail.
They went to bat for me with Whirlpool and got me a new replacement!!!
They have exceptional customer service and we won’t get our appliances anywhere but Riegelmann’s

Bought multiple appliances from them in the past, including two Waste King disposals. When the splash guard gasket on one fell inside the disposal one too many times and no longer fit my husband stopped in to pick up a replacement. Considering it was (and may be still) the only garbage disposal they sell, we erroneously thought they would stock the common replacement part. Gaskets wear out people! Not only do they not carry it, they told him to go to Home Depot for a universal gasket. My husband actually thought he was kidding as we have had good customer service and parts help in the past. But there was no offer to order, to look it up (he brought in the part so no guessing) or otherwise offer to find the correct fitting part. A trip to Home Depot was gas and time wasted as he found their universal replacements are not even close to the correct size. So as much as I like to support a local business, we ended up buying the exact part we needed for $ 5.67 on amazon. And it was such a souring experience over a commonly needed and cheap, small, easy to stock part that I don’t think we will go back.

My washer broke, it was a sad day. I called them and they sent a guy the next day to Estacada from Gresham to fix it! They were very honest about up front cost, and the cost if I opt out of them fixing it and I could part ways. The repair guy was really friendly and personable and it was an overall great experience. I don’t know anything about fixing stuff and they were really helpful and trustworthy. Love Love Love these guys!

Since my last review my wife and I purchased a washer /​dryer from them and their set-​up people were excellent… very careful and thorough. We enjoy our new appliances !

They rock my world. I will never again buy from any other appliance store. Washer and dryer are perfect for my no-​bells-​and-​whistles husband and I. Just about to pull the trigger on a dishwasher, also sans frills. The sales staff are honest, straightforward and not pushy whatsoever. And the service/​delivery department is equally as cool (don’t ask me how that giant nail got in our washer the first week we had it… ok, maybe it had been in my pocket…). Awesome local store that deserves my business and yours.

This is by far the best appliance place in the Portland Metro area. I have purchased all of my appliances, washer, dryer, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and freezer from them. I usually buy from Mike but they are all great! Service is superior and they are very friendly. Much better than a big box store. My old freezer went out and I needed one the same day. They were there within a few hours. It is worth the trip to visit them if you are in the market for new appliances.

Great service without the over pushy sales guy, you know, the ones who act like used car salesmen? Simply a great place.
Oh, one negative. Say no thanks to the potholders.

Good value, great service, free loaner fridge while we waited 2 weeks for ours to come in. Then they delivered it and transferred the food while we were out! It looks great. I hear the service is good too. Shop local!

I cannot say enough good things about the folks at Riegelmann’s. This is the way to buy appliances. They’ve just remodeled their showroom, the staff is VERY helpful, the prices are reasonable and the service department is AWESOME. We bought all our new appliances there: washer, dryer, stove, range hood, dishwasher and fridge and have been nothing but pleased with every aspect of the experience. If we ever need another appliance (are there any that we don’t have yet??) we will ABSOLUTELY go back there. As an added bonus, this is a real family owned store, with a picture of Grandpa Riegelmann on the front counter and his grandkids working the sales floor.
