Valley View Canine

I have had nothing but great experiences there! Now on my second pot in obedience 1 and she is learning so much so fast. Thank you to the staff at Valley View and soon to be in daycare!

We decided to give Valleyview a chance with helping us train our puppy because it had some good reviews on the web. However our actual experience was nothing like the reviews we had read. It was a very impersonal experience. No one at any time asked us what our goals were and what experience and prior training we had. It was a very cookie-​cutter training program one-​size-​fits-​all. And if you’re a dog owner you understand that is not always appropriate. The demeanor towards the dogs was very cold and distant. Upon completion of the program only we were told by the trainer herself that 8 out of 10 of their trainees fail the class, meaning only 2 out of 10 pass to the next level. With that they ask you to repeat the class all over again with a very small discount that would amount to about $ 5 in savings. We were appalled by all of this and it just goes to show that it is a direct reflection of the trainer that 80% of her class does not pass to the next level. We were very diligent owners training every day in between classes and felt our puppy was doing very well and on par with the skills taught during the program. Would not recommend.

After trying several places, from Halsey East Vet to Bark Busters this is the best place for both dog training classes to doggie daycare. They are clean, professional, and know dog behavior. And they are nice. :)
