Although this is a small walking trail, I am so excited for it because this has been just an empty lot since the Bellemeade Apartments were torn down 4 or 5 years ago. I love this spot. Not only is there a walking trail that is 1⁄6th of a mile, but there are gates surrounding the spot and there is a parking lot inside the park so that you can be close to your car. I have walked the trail a couple of times and it’s a nice smooth, fast walk. I like that there are trees planted around the trail that will definitely fill out over the years and make the space really nice. This is a great spot to enjoy a nice walk on a pretty day, especially now that the weather is getting nicer. I have enjoyed walking here and I am excited to make the walking trail a part of my regular routine.
