Chopstix Buffet

Best buffet I’ve been to in recent memory. Highlights: coconut shrimp, crab rangoons, seafood salad and shrimp with celery in a white sauce (both dishes were served cold at the salad bar), boiled shrimp (it was actually gulf shrimp!), tuna sashimi, bourbon chicken, bbq chicken on a stick, fried fish, baked fish.
Most everything else was just ok. Nothing was exceptionally bad. The place was clean and the staff friendly.
Someone said in another review about how they need to clean up after the kids hit the bar, yeah there are signs that clearly say no kids under 12 can serve themselves.
We went on a Sunday and the crowd was pretty busy. Everything was fresh and well kept up. This place deserves better reviews. $ 12.99 per adult all day on Sunday. Money very well spent.

I wasn’t too thrilled with this place when I came the last couple of times. They’re lucky they’re located in such a good spot on the Westbank expressway. I agree with other reviewers they have a problem keeping stuff fresh. The sushi was ok. But their hot items were only warm and their cold items needed to be colder I like cold lettuce in my salad. They also need to clean up the bar after the children hit it. Wiping the bar with clean cloths would be a start. I don’t like to see food spilling over from the serving pans.
Unlike other reviewers, I’ve never had a problem with my bill. I usually get charged the same price every time.
But because I love buffets, I tried giving this place not one but several chances. I’d have to pass if I was invited back.

Horrible!!! Over priced. I paid $ 75.00 for 2 adults and three kids. Felt like i was robbed. Service was horrible had to keep asking the waitress for refills, napkins etc… and on top of all that. There was a roach by the sushi bar… Just ridiculous!!! Will never go back!

I’m a huge fan of going to buffet’s. I like having some variety and I always love a good Chinese buffet… this my friends is a good one! They have a great selection of food, and it’s always been fresh every time I go! I would def recommend going for lunch and if you are a glutton like me, don’t plan on doing much after. Lol

Went there after Mardi Gras yesterday and was seated quickly. I like the sushi options here over the other places, and I enjoyed the protein selection at their hibachi bar. While I didn’t eat most of the «traditional» buffet food, I was hooked on the dumplings and steamed bread they had out hooked me.
The entire place was clean, to include the restrooms. I do have a complaint about the choice in toilet paper. You think you could possibly upgrade to two-​ply at least? OUCH!

Rude and not very friendly. The buffet is pretty sad, the food is like knock off Chinese food. Also they don’t show you the cash register so they make up prices based on the person seems like. I regret paying so much for terrible food. Avoid it and go to panda king or wait for dragon palace to come back

I was in the area and looked up on Unilocal to find a place for me and my 3 year old to go while shopping. The reviews we’re so so and my 3 year old was breaking down so, I said I’m sure I’ve had worse Chinese buffet before. we frequently eat Chinese buffet with our small kids as it is affordable, quick and easy and we can get vegatables. Anyway, we needed to eat now so, I went in. It was Great! Like I said, we frequently eat buffet and it was probably the best I’ve ever had. Clean, lots of options and the taste and quality was great! Service was not great, but they were very busy so, another good sign. 5 stars! And I’m usually very critical and never write reviews :)

This place is seriously underrated. Very reasonably priced and the food is fabulous. Hostess and waitstaff are quite nice too. Will definitely be visiting again very soon.

My husband really wanted to come here, so we did. I am not really fond of Chinese buffets as far as this one goes, it’s was ok. Not many choices for vegetarians.

Terrible service, terrible food, worst buffet I’ve ever been to! One star is too generous to give this place!

If you would like the worst versions of all your favorite foods, then I humbly invite you to «enjoy» the chopstix buffet.

This is another business that could benefit from a thorough cleaning. I’m amazed the health inspector hasn’t shut them down. Don’t look UNDER the tables.

They are really good. Crawfish and shrimp needs a little more seasoning. Chopsticks is a little pricey. For 2 ppl it was $ 31. I eat here alot too. This place really is awesome! The service is good also. Not alot of ppl know about this place which is good. Good business hours also. Thanks Chopsticks for dinner!

Best Chinese buffet on the west bank. Seated fast hot food plenty of it sushi is hit or miss. One of the best things they make is the fried chicken of all things.
Friendly staff, they even have a meeting room for small events that we have used for VFW dinners.

Its an Asian buffet. You know the type of food they have here, and if you don’t take a walk in the food court at most malls and you can sample some. Its the same type and quality of that. I do like that for the dinner buffet you have the option for fresh stir-​fry. The sushi is cream cheese heavy, but ok otherwise. The buffets in the area generally have more health code violations due to improper temperature of foods. Try not to get anything cold or that has been out too long. good luck and my the odds ever be in your favor.

We were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. My husband and I try to eat healthy and that was no problem. All the dishes were very flavorful. Everything was fresh and always full. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

This deserves better ratings

The food here is good … better than most Asian buffets in the area. The price is perfect for lunch. The only thing that bothers me is that the wait staff is a bit slow but they are always nice.

Ok so the food isn’t amazing but it is average for a chinese place. They have sushi, Mongolian a little, normal chinese, seafood, deserts. Place is clean also. I noticed this place brings in a big crowd.

Its average to a little better than average. Its a Chinese buffet. No complaints, but nothing to brag about either. If you are really hungry and Golden Corral is too far away its worth a check out.
*I wanted wan-​ton soup and it was just broth.
*I settled for hot and sour soup and it was over spicy.
*The best thing was the Bourbon Chicken. It tastes like it came off of a bbq pit.
*Service in most Chinese buffets are good, just don’t expect much conversation.

It’s cheap, and they have sushi and a stir fry bar for dinner (I can’t bring myself to call it a hibachi grill since it’s at a Chinese buffet). I really have no complaints, other than the usual buffet critique — food sitting out for a long time so it’s not really fresh, lots of salt used on everything, etc.
Friendly employees and good for a quick Asian-​style meal with the kids though. They have some «American» options for picky eaters too, along with the staples of Americanized Chinese food, like fried rice, general tso’s chicken, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, etc.
There are lots of seafood options too, if you want to pig out on some fish.
