My go to donut place. Sunrize has without a doubt the best French Cruller in the Omaha Metro. Actually, all of the donuts I have tried have been great but the Cruller stands out. Soft, glazy, eggy… you know what I mean.
The thing that really stands out is the size of these donuts, huge! You get your money’s worth. For example, and I’ll take photos someday for comparison, the Dunkin Donuts’ Cruller takes about 2 bites to consume. The Sunrize at least 5, it’s literally twice the donut for the same price.
Do yourself a favor and stop on by and treat your sugar craving with an awesome donut.

Good donuts. I particularly like their apple fritters. The apple fritters are large and don’t taste like the oil from the fryer like they do at so many other donut shops.
I wish they had some traditional baked goods like muffins, pecan rolls, and whatnot. Mostly, they just have whatever goes in a fryer.
Service is very friendly.
There’s a small sitting area inside, but this place is really designed for you to take your donuts and leave.
As with most donut shops, the earlier you get there the better the selection.
It is close to my house, so it’s my go-to place for donuts as much for the taste and service as for the convenience.
