Sav-Mor Foods

Most items here are more expensive than safeway, but good selection of food. I LOVE their premade deli sandwiches :). I used to love their premade enchiladas, but for some unknown reason, they completely stopped making them with red sauce. only green. So I don’t get them anymore :(. Staff is ok but most I’ve encountered, seemed to have attitudes. Not particularly towards myself, but like they just hate their job. some of them don’t really put toward an effort to smile or greet you. Great store none the less.

I noticed now that since it is Sav mor, they have many mexican items/​brands in the store! You can find all kinds of mexican products, foods, spices for cooking, I even saw a lot of piñatas hanging. I like the bambino sweets section, the donuts are so good! I’m sure half the employees are bi lingual in English Spanish, cashiers and employees have always been friendly towards me, always helpful customer service. Shopping here, I feel very laid back! They also have a bakery, deli of hot cold foods, basic produce, sell money orders for 75 cents and lotto tickets. The rotisserie chickens are delicious, a frequent staple in our house. Recently I discovered the flour tortillas by Valencia, no one makes better homemade tortillas than my mom, but this local brand is definitely fresh and one of the best to buy. We grew up on homemade EVERYTHING, so it not easy to eat store bought packaged tortillas, but luckily we can buy local with Valencia or Casa Lupe products. My #1 thing is the Crystal brand dairy products, which I’ve had my whole life and something I refuse to give up. I love their butter, sour cream, milk, cheese, and ice creams. Sometimes I can’t find this brand at other stores. It’s my favorite dairy products. Therefore I am very thankful Sav mor carries Crystal brand :)
