Took an hour to check in. Booked room through third party booking site and the lady working the front desk had no idea how to handle that. She argued with me that I didn’t pay for the room even though I had email confirmation and a reservation number. Ended up charging my card four times plus my initial payment for the room. Complete insanity. Awful customer service and what appeared to be little to no training. Seemed like the ladies first time using a computer.

I feel the same as everyone else… I don’t like that the doors open to the outside, but really the place was immaculate, and the staff bent over backwards to assist me during my short stay. If you need a clean place to rest your head, it’s a good choice. If you’re looking for extras then you won’t be happy.

This is an old hotel, but it is very clean and comfy. The staff is superb! Tina and Amy will go above and beyond to properly represent the Hilton Brand. The service is 5 star!

Notice that the name does not say Hampton Inn Suites… I did not notice and I actually booked my stay at this MOTEL open to the HIGHWAY in a SMOKINGROOM. Everything that could go wrong in booking a hotel did go wrong. The place is moldy, the two sad gym machines do not work and have mud all over them. The only good thing about this motel is the sweet customer service from the people that work there. But seriously Hilton fix them up with some better rooms, invest some money, get rid of the growing mold n this structure and make these hotel workers proud.

I agree with Robert U. Nothing is really wrong with it, it’s just a place to sleep and shower. It is clean and neat, so points for that. If you don’t have a car, you can’t walk to any place to eat… that is not good. Breakfast is free… and it is free breakfast quality. Will get my Hilton points though! Sure wish they would update the gym. That is really sad!

Not so good. I stay in hotels all over the country, over 100 nights a year, so I feel like I have a good grip on what’s to be expected, what’s good, and what’s bad. First off, this is a MOTEL, not a hotel. The doors open to the outside, Holiday Inn style. To Hampton’s credit, they made this clear when I made my reservation. The rate was fairly cheap, and I didn’t see many alternatives in the area, so I rolled the dice… And while nothing in particular was wrong or bad, the whole experience was underwhelming. The rooms are just not up to the standards of Hampton Inn. Too basic. The bathrooms are tiny. So I will find something else next time I’m in this area…
