THEWORSTHOLIDAYINNEXPRESS I HAVEEVERSTAYEDAT. I travel for work and stay in hotels 300+ days a year. This hotel is by far the worst IHG property I have ever stayed at. The hotel it self is in fair to good condition at first appearance but once I checked in it was one problem after another. The first two days there was no internet what so ever. Then there was no water for a day and a half, then no hot water for half a day after that. The housekeeper never ever knocked before opening my door. Furthermore she would actually come in the room after noticing I was there without even asking or apologizing. Two of the nights children were running down the halls yelling and screaming until 4am, and the front desk did nothing to stop them. These same children’s parents set up a daycare in the exercise room by locking them in there with cartoons on the TV. One time I was running on the treadmill when she shoved them all in there and told them not to leave until she came back for them. Once again no action from front desk besides apologies. Oh, and the guest laundry washing machine is broken. My co workers have an even longer list of issues. Including having the front desk rent their rooms while they were already in them. So they had people walk in their room hauling in their luggage. Two of them got locked out of their rooms due to broken door locks, and were given a second room to hang out in without their belongings. Broken AC units, etc. I was the only one that didn’t have to change rooms at least once. This hotel should lose the IHG franchise. End of story. The front desk staff has over used the phrase. «I am sorry»

I was surprised to see that this hotel had such bad reviews on Unilocal.I hate when house keepers take shortcuts because I am in the cleaning business so I can tell. We stayed here for a night I’m a picky hotel person but this was one fine. I do a thorough inspection before I sleep in a bed and this one had no stray hairs, no stains etc. I would have given a higher rating if the tub was cleaned better and the faucets shined because they were water stains. The tub also didn’t drain well but that’s out of the house keepers hands. We missed breakfast but the lobby and dining area looked nice.

Watch out — bed bugs!!! Poor Dad had to change hotel rooms in the middle of the night when he traveled there recently. :-/

NOT a Holiday inn express. You’d be better off staying at a motel 6. Place was NASTY. Carpet stained throughout entire place. Bathroom tiles broken and mold on walls in bathroom. Discoloration on walls. When entering rear entrance there is a bench with cigarette butts everywhere, maids sitting out back smoking with a stick holding the back door open(seems safe considering you should have a key to enter building) either travel further and find a decent hotel or pay a lot less than $ 100+ a night for another hotel of same dump quality!

A bit if a disappointment. Four stars is very generous. I get no cellular service in my room, the Wi-Fi is choppy and unreliable. Good thing it’s free. Room looks clean but is closer to the opposite. Bed skirts are filthy, bed sheets not changed, you can tell ppl have slept/laid in them. I went to plug in my phone charger behind the nightstand to find old food, tissue and other trash. Hair strands on the pillow, very dusty and it takes approx 3 minutes for warm/hot water to come on. Seems like the cleaning was half done and/or shortcuts were taken. Not a great experience at all. I will likely not return, which is a shame because I’ll be traveling to Griffin in business every week for the next two months.
