This place is always fresh and fast. I love their guac and the steak fajita tacos!

The owners are very friendly and service is fast. Both times I have gone there, the food has been decent and they have been accomodating for any special requests we may have had. However, I do enjoy more cheese and spices/flavorings on my food than they give. Over all, it is a nice little place to get some takeout.

Food is very bland. Burritos are the size of tacos as many other Mexican restaurants. They consist of 50% tortilla, and let’s not forget that they’re the same price as most other Mexican restaurants. Salsa doesn’t come with chips. Never been to a Mexican resturant where you had to specifically request chips with salsa LOL. I basically think that they skimp out in quality to save a few cents on each order, and then nickel and dime the customer for every possible thing. Places like this eventually go out of business for a reason. People don’t want to come back because the quality is subpar, and they feel like they are getting ripped off.

I love this place. Been there three to four times and the food has been excellent every time. If it was close to my house I would be there a lot more. Food is excellent. Prices are readonable.

This place is full of random hidden costs, and they vary. The first time I came in, they charged me a dollar for water. This time they charged me for extra chips and pico de gallo. They gave us 2 extra orders(large sized group) and just decided to put on my bill. I dont mind if something is extra, but please let me know, especially if you are going to personally charge me for the entire group. I like the food well enough(for the price) and usually tell co-worker to go. This, however, ends today since the price keeps growing.

First place here after noticing it a few times as I went to Subway. Decided to stop in for lunch, ordered and waited about 35 minutes. I had to cancel my order cause I only had one hour and had already burned 45 minutes. needless to say all I tried were the complimentary chips. I suggest they work on speed especially during lunch which is probably why it wasn’t even half full.

Maybe wrong cook today… but my $ 20 and some change dinner was WAY overcooked and DRY! Fajitas are supposed to be tender and not cooked to death. I wanted to give this place a chance. I ordered a mix of steak/chicken fajitas dinner, a small guac, and a pork taco. The guac was good, but for the 3 mex restaurants we have in area… nothing spec. Maybe if the meat wasnt flat-topped cooked to death, I could taste some seasoning.

I lived in San Diego for more than 5 years. After moving back home to Northwest Indiana a few years ago, I was on a search for authentic Mexican food in the tradition of the Southern California taco shops and restaurants. FINALLY, I have found one! Excellent food, great service.

So glad we finally tried this place. I’m originally from Cali, so it is kind of hard to find a good real Mexican place. And we were pleased with this place. I had the tacos and a sope al pastor. They were delicious. Reminded me of when I used to live in a small town close to Guadalajara, Jalisco.(Tuxpan, Jalisco to be exact) came to find out that they are from Jalisco. That explains the great food. We will be returning for sure!

I’ve had worse but this place was not very good. Very bland and meat just tasted like it was rubber. The only plus is that it wasn’t too pricy. I couldn’t even find a number for this place to call take out. Pass on this

I couldn’t find a thing about this restaurant online, so I decided to stop in today. So glad I did. The interior of the restaurant is pretty spartan right now, but the tables are decent and there are some surprisingly stylish booths along the walls. You can order at your table or go up to the counter, which is pretty typical for taco places. I say«taco place» as I categorize Mexican eateries into two categories. You have your kind like Jalapeño’s or El Salto which have large menus with many entrees and your meat choices limited mostly to ground beef/chicken/steak. Then, you have your«taco place», which has much fewer items, but a TON of meats to choose from. That’s what this place has going for it. Today I tried the al pastor(marinated pork) tacos and the chorizo tacos. I think they may cook the al pastor stacked on a vertical spit(common) with a pineapple speared on the top of it(not common!), slowly leaking its sweet deliciousness all over the meeeeeeeeeeat *drooooooool* oops sorry got off track there. But I could taste a bit of pineapple in with the pork, and that, my friends, was delightful. Anyway, the tacos were $ 2 each and a bit on the small side. If you’re a big eater, you’ll need at least 4 tacos. But the meats were terrific, the tortillas were lightly crispy at the edges while still being chewy, and the hot sauces had the perfect amount of heat. If tacos aren’t your thing, their burritos and tortas seem quite reasonable.
