I didn’t stay long enough for a full review, but I’ll tell what I know. I’m a regular patient at the Merrillville Moses, but I stopped in at the Griffith location because I needed one pair of glasses fixed and the other tightened, and I happened to be in the neighborhood. I walked in the door, told them I was a patient at another location, and they didn’t even bat an eye or ask to see my insurance. They immediately tightened the glasses I was wearing, and when they couldn’t fix my broken glasses on the spot, they called all the other locations to see who had the right materials. It didn’t take long for the nice lady to find what she needed to fix my glasses and she said they would be ready in two days. She wrote down my name and number and said it would be no charge. She didn’t even look anything up in her files or on her computer to see if I was actually a patient. I was in and out in less than five minutes. I felt like it was the 1950s all over again(full disclosure, I was born in the ‘70s, so I don’t actually know what anything was like in the ‘50s…it just seems like the right comparison.) Hopefully my glasses will be fixed in two days, just like she promised, and I will give an update with five stars…
