I grew up in Griffith and we loved Villa pizza, owned by the Mills family. One of our favorites, we ate it all through the 70’s and 80’s. We now live in Schererville but we kept getting Villa pizza every so often cause we loved the crumbly sausage, flaky/puffy crust, slightly greasy cheese. You know, Region pizza. However a couple of years ago the family sold it and we had a pizza and it was awful and we stopped going there. I recently read a review on Unilocal from Kim S about«the last couple of pizzas being great just like the old days» so we decided this week to give it another try. Fantastic. I wanted to cry because it was the same delicious pizza from before. Brought back old memories and my family loved it. We will be back. Same old pizza oven, same delicious crumbly sausage, same weird way they slice it, with long, thin strips of pizza. If you haven’t had it, get one. You won’t regret it.

The pizzas here are the best in the area. Great service. The family that owns it are awesome.

I grew up in Highland, Indiana, and always heard how good was the pizza from Villa Pizza. I left the region without tasting it, but trips back home have proven that the buzz was right. Villa Pizza’s pizza, both deep dish and regular crust, is the stuff of dreams. Very fresh ingredients, just the right amount of sauce, crispy crust, quick delivery. Also, I called to purchase gift certificates for someone in the area and the lady on the phone offered to drop them off personally. Now that’s customer service!

The last couple of pizzas I’ve had from here were just fabulous, just like the old days. Delivery is quick, food is hot, and ingredients are plentiful. I’m in love again!

I would definitely recommend this pizza, but would suggest carry out. The«dining» area is not great. The crust is medium to thick, but is super crunchy. I have driven past this place for 3 decades, but never stopped in until tonight. We will order from here again. Good pizza.

This is a quality pizza if there ever was one. The crust is a delicate combination of crispy and light and is always done to perfection. The sausage is finely ground and packed full of Italian flavor, and it’s generously spread over the entire pizza. We always go for a large sausage pizza and large order of mushrooms. It fills a family of four, and there’s always a couple leftover slices of pizza.
