This is the best pizza! Just like the old Cal City location. Great customer service too!

You just lost a customer. Spent $ 43 on dinner. Got all the way home(20 minutes) to find the antipasto salad had no dressing in the bag. I called to ask for a refund and was told that I could come back or I can get double the dressing next time — gee thanks! No apology. No trying to make it right. The guy with the accent was very cold and basically told me tough shit. First time customer and last time customer.

I really wanted to like the pizza but I could barely choke it down. Where was the sauce? !? It was bread with a HUGE mound of sausage which was not appetizing at all. The sausage was dry and flavorless. The cheese seemed to be of very poor quality due to the texture. I would comment on the sauce but i couldnt taste any. I won’t be going back. 20 dollars for a large«pizza«that I could barely eat. Nope, not again.

Hopefully this is the right John’s pizza I’m writing this review about because its been a while and I know there are a couple of locations. However, if this is the one stay away from this place. Their pizza is not only terrible but they cut it in these funky 1 inch breadstick style strips. Their pizza is less appetizing than Little Caesers! Not only does their pizza suck so does their appetizers. Goes to show you don’t be fooled by pictures. I went there cause I had a strip of coupons from them and they had pictures of the food accompanying the coupons and the taste did not match the look!

Ordered pizza from here as we had a coupon. Two pizzas were included in the order and neither was worth a slice or two. The cheese pizza tasted little of cheese, but more of oregano and other overwhelming spices. The sausage pizza was downright uninspiring and tasteless. Sorry, no more from here!

This place is best for take out. Small interior. Taco pizza is awesome. Refried beans, fresh tomato, yum! Every time it’s perfect, been getting them for years. Love the crumbled sausage & pepperoni too. Have not tried any other menu items though.

Wanted to like this place but can’t believe all the positive reviews. Went there late on a Sat a few months ago. Place is tiny, like 1 or 2 booths. Only employees present were what appeared to be a Mom sitting in the booth and her son cooking. Food was HEINOUS. Two pasta dishes w/red sauce were basically inedible, and what you could force down would give you heartburn in 5 minutes. Small iceberg lettuce salad of the worst kind, «garlic bread» that appeared to be some low cost store bought bread that was thrown on the grill dusted with some«seasoning». Almost twenty bucks apiece for that slop. NEWWORSTRESTAURANTONMYLIST.

I cannot tell you if everything from this place is good but I can vouch for my regular order. We usually get a sausage pizza with extra cheese. It is awesome! The sausage is crumbly all over! I like the zucchini sticks! Also my hubby and I love the baked beef! I have tried the spaghetti and it isn’t very good at all. We just stick to the same order so I can say if you get these items you will like them.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Good food does not matter if the customer service is terrible… and it is. I called this John’s Pizzeria to place an order. The woman on the phone asked if I could hold for a minute and I said sure. She left me on hold for over 5 all the while I could here her complaining about customers who pay with credit cards instead of cash! I hung up and called back and explained what had just happened. The woman, won turned out to be the OWNER, did not care. Despite my better judgement, I placed my order. I was told the it would be «an hour to an hour fifteen» before the food to arrive. Fast forward to over an hour and a half later and our order is not delivered. I call John’s again and a man answers who apologizes and says they have been running slow. I ask for the manager and I am once again talking to the female owner who tells me that I wrong about the time frame. She claimed she said it was an hour and a half wait! I told her she was wrong but she would not and did not care. She even hung up on me! This is how an OWNERTREATS A CUSTOMER! Needless to say, we never got our food. I will never order from here again! If the owner is that rude, I don’t need to spend my money there. Other people, especially, people who want delivery should proceed with caution. I am just happy that there are other restaurants who provide quality food and service in the area.

I’m always up for finding a great pizza place, and I was wowed seeing the reviews for this place. If you have read any of my reviews then you know I’m a lover for housemade. This place promised to deliver, so I ventured there to check their flair. What I ordered: Family size cheese lovers pie with half spinach, tomatoes, light garlic, and onions. Extra sauce on the whole thing. Fettucini Alfredo — comes with salad and garlic bread Homemade cheese sticks Pizza was a little less then decent — even with the 4 cheeses and extra toppings tasted bland — Did like the texture of the crust. Hated that I ordered that big size though as I see it in the trash in a few days Pasta just tasted like butter. The 3 year old liked it, however the 12 year old couldn’t finish his portion saying that it felt and tasted like he gobbled down a stick of butter. Salad was salad though the dressings(creamy garlic and Italian) were sweet Cheese sticks were the best thing ordered and it was agreed by kids and husband that they tasted a little like fish. We think it was the breading but not sure. This will be our first and last time eating there and I wonder if some of the reviews were posted by the owners… I wonder

So, it’s true. They told me it was going to be a beautiful pizza, and it was! Unilocaled for Italian when in the area and John’s came up. Don’t let the very unpretentious storefront deter you. Had to get the crumbled sausage after reading about it, and the mushrooms are fresh; crust was perfect! Delicious pie gentlemen! The lasagna review will have to wait for later! Yum!

Crumbled sausage, awesome sandwiches, and they make everything quickly for you! Out of all the pizzeria’s in NWI John’s is by far the best!
