I live close by and wanted to support a local business. Greasy cheese on Cardboard is the best I can say for their pizza. Stick with the Hogie.

Hey Romanos… Must have discontinued your previous Unilocal account with my negative review! …Unless you personally know the owner… customer service sucks! It doesn’t matter that you’ve been going there with your family your whole life! He don’t care! Hung up on me because of a coupon… never asked if I wanted to order without the coupon and then hung up on me again when I tried to call back to actually order. Loved the old ham hoagies… new ones are ok. Cheapened but still good! To bad the owner lacks personality… would make my own before I give him my money!

For the past year I’ve driven past Romano’s wanting to check them out but always hesitated. After hearing that the original Romano’s on Ridge Road had the best Hoagies in town I decided I had to stop by and check it out. Upon entering I found myself in a quiet seating area with old movie posters from what looks like the 50’s and music to match. I went up to the counter and found the menu and saw what I wanted to order, The Hoagie. Polish Ham stuffed with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. It didn’t take long to prepare and definitely didn’t take long to devour. It was excellent except a bit too much mayo for my taste. My next visit I will have to try their pizza. If you like quiet areas and a great hoagie then Romano’s is the place.
