Top Notch Rental

Love, love love! Can’t say enough about Dan! I have used top notch for my daughter’s birthday parties, generally 70+ guests, for the past 4 years. Couldn’t be happier.
Prices for bounce castles are unbeatable. I have yet to find another vendor with better pricing. I have also rented tents, tables and chairs and have always been very impressed with Dan’s set up and tear down. I am located in Chicago, despite the fact that he has moved his business to Indiana, he still makes the trip here year in and year out to service our parties. One other review on Unilocal,is nonsense! I have had friends and family use Top notch after seeing the phenomenal job, and they too have been very pleased. Call! I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed, and you will not beat the price!

I responded to Top Notch Rentals posting on Facebook about a tent. They did not have the tent I was looking for, but we made a «deal» on a bounce house for our block party to be delivered on Saturday between 2 & 2:30. I asked about insurance after the booking and was informed on ⁵⁄₁₈ that they are insured. On 5/​21, I sent a message confirming and giving instructions on who to call with questions and reminding them to bring a copy of the insurance for our files. I was informed that it takes 2 days to get copy of the certificate, so I told them to just bring a copy of the basic certificate OR the insurance company information. On the date of the event, I was not available, but had given contact information for the person handling everything to the Top Notch Rep. Before 3pm, my rep contacted Top Notch and was told they didn’t have our booking; then our rep was told they would come out asap and knock $ 20 off the cost. The regular price given our rep was already $ 25 less than the «deal» I was given. Finally, Top Notch informed our rep that they would not be delivering a bounce house for our event. At 3:20pm, 20 minutes AFTER our event was to have begun, Top Notch sent me a message on Facebook stating that they didn’t show because I requested insurance and they couldn’t get it in time. My issues are: 1) insurance was requested on ⁵⁄₁₈ and on ⁵⁄₂₁ they were told to simply bring insurance company contact information at the very least. 2) they were given alternate contact information due to my being unavailable. The alternate rep was readily available and had contact with several other block party vendors that day, yet Top Notch chose to message me on Facebook AFTER the event started and AFTER our rep had contacted them about being a no show. NEVER use this company!
