This store is amazing. I live on the island so it’s very convenient, but I typically attempt shopping for the lowest price. After making the run to the 3 large hardware chains and finding either no help from the sales associates or that they are out of stock, I turn to GI Hardware. It almost always results by bizarre coincidence or divine intervention, that they have exactly what I need and I wasted all that time shopping around. I have since learned to go to Grosse Ile Hardware first. Prices here are in line with quality and quality products are all they stock. So if you don’t care if it breaks or is cheaply made, go somewhere else.
