Clarion Inn

We stayed at the Clarion for the weekend. Although the room was clean, and large enough for the two of us and two dogs, it was disappointing for many reasons. We only had one washcloth, there were no cups in the bathroom (I had to search for them in the room), the ice machine in our section was out of order and the people at the front desk could not give us directions to the motel when we were just blocks away. We usually stay at another chain, and we will avoid this place in the future.

I have stayed in quite a few different hotels including hotel chains. I want to state that I was quite disappointed with my stay at Clarion Inn recently. The room was not clean and we found a couple of bugs in one of the beds. The air conditioner did not work and the front desk sent up someone who changed the filters — When we asked him what if the filters do not fix the problem he stated «Don’t know what else could be done.». We were moved to another room and told we would not be charged for the move — «Really!!. The next day we tried to get into the pool– sign stated open at 8:00 — could not get in — went to the front desk — was told pool was open at 10:00, told them sign stated differently, was told nothing could be done till «Joe» handyman showed up. Never got into the pool. At checkout after much discussion, got 50% off the second night.
Would not stay in Clarion Inn again.

The hotel was clean and the manager was nice. The info in the binder in the room was outdated. Even the info for the restaurant in the lobby was wrong. The lady in the restaurant lobby was rude, very unprofessional and was far from intelligent. The pool was small and the hot tub was anything but hot. The room was small and the bathroom was small with no counter space at all. The front desk was not available when we called. The best thing about this place was the location. It seemed like everything was only 20 – 25 mins away.

My fiancé and I stayed here for a week. Overall the stay was pleasant. It was clean and the room was comfortable. My only complaints would be 1) the restaurant inside the Clarion inn which is Wings and Pies… The staff are incredibly rude and they ended up not getting our business because of it. 2) the hot tub in the pool area was luke warm at best and 3) our room was very small for a king sized room with a fridge and microwave.
