The service is always fantastic at lunch time. Very quick even when they are busy. The subs are always fresh. It’s a chain store but still excellent quality ingredients and is much better than subway.

Ordered take out. Was told they were«really busy, so it’ll be 2o minutes.» Got there 20 mins later and there was not a single person in the place. My sandwich was then cold, and wrong. Unbelievable.

Incredible sandwiches, the place is a hive of activity. I have no idea how they keep all the orders straight, but they do! Fast, inexpensive & great customer service.

Average chain restaurant. Always a mess ordering because there are tables where the line should be forming. Employees do not look thrilled to be there and they don’t seem very organized. The last time I was there the wrap I received was stale so it was not very enjoyable and it took wayyy too long for just a Chicken Caesar wrap(at least 25min)…

Some employees don’t have the greatest of attitudes when ordering your food. Aside from that the food is good. And their soup is pretty tasty also. Order a combo with a sandwich and soup and you’ll be full for the day. I wouldn’t recommend a chicken Caesar salad wrap. It’s literally a salad in a tortilla.

The food is decent. I don’t love their cheese on a lot of the sandwiches. Not the greatest quality. The Korean BBQ is pretty good! The drivers are terrible. I’ve almost been run off the road by a few trying to go at least 20mph over the speed limit. I wonder if they have weird time frames to make it back or if the drivers(mainly the man in the grey car) are just jerks. Swerving into oncoming lanes in the middle of an intersection?! Riding so close behind people that they can’t see your headlights. Grow up. I hope the manager takes these concerns seriously. The drivers are a danger to other on the road.

We really enjoy the sandwiches here. They are always fast and friendly. The only thing is the prices seem a little high to me and I wish they had more side options.

First off, although this is a franchised location, they accept all corporate coupons, gift cards, and rewards cards. That’s important, because not all D’Angelo Sandwich Shops do. Unfortunately, a company-wide change to the menu removed the Bourbon Street which I had taken a recent liking to. The general manager is very nice, as is the rest of the staff here. The restaurant is generally pretty clean when I come in, and I’ve never had my order messed up, although I usually come in at slower times in the afternoon. If you’re looking for suggestions, you can’t go wrong with their steak and cheese sandwiches. The Number 9 adds mushrooms, peppers, and onions to your basics steak and cheese, and the Steak Bomb adds those vegetables in addition to capicola and salami.

For starters i’d like to say that i do enjoy the food here, and appreciate going to this clean establishment. I’ve never had a horrible meal or questionable food. With that being said I frequent this specific location about once a week with two to three other co-workers for our lunch break. We order when we arrive and they make the sandwichs quickly and were out the door in no time. Upon arriving back to work we then notice that at least two of the four sandwichs are wrong in one way or another. Some are missing toppings and some are entirely different meats, or a combination of both. This happens literally every time we go, and you may think«why would one continue to frequent this establishment?»… Well i guess even when its wrong it’s still good… It’s just not what we ordered!

My experience with this place has been overall good. The meat is of good quality, the inside is very clean, the people that work there are super friendly(except for this one seemingly clinically depressed girl) and the food is very quick. Thanksgiving Toasted and the Broccoli Cheddar soup are my favorites:) The reason that it lost one star is because when I order(I always order over the phone for pickup) they always say 10 – 15 minutes. I have learned to just leave the house right after I order(I live 5 min away) and the sandwiches are cold 90% of the time. Microwaving a well made sandwich definitely isn’t a plus, but those sandwiches must be awesome because I still go there at least once a month.

Love this place. I always get what I order and even if I got something else is eat it anyway. The food is great so it doesn’t matter what you get. I always get DA Bomb with chipotle. Try it for yourself, I’m just upset it took me so long to finally stop in

On Thursday, November 14, 2013 at about 7:45pm, we were decided to goto Subway for dinner. On a last second decision we changed our mind to goto D’Angelos since we haven’t been in awhile. As soon as we arrived, we were met with a male employee with his earbuds in his ears, which in my opinion is extremely rude because I don’t want to be competing with his music while I’m ordering. He was yelling while trying to talk, guessing to talk over his music. As we were deciding what to order, the male was yelling at a female employee, some sort of drama of her going to his place. This made out decision in take out instead of dining in easy. There was a total of 3 female and 1 male employees. The one which was engaged in the dramatic argument was no help to us. The others seemed disturbed by the drama. One of the obviously disturbed females took our order. We ordered two sandwiches. She never asked which size on my fiancé sandwich and just assume medium which was later fixed. The food was alright as usual and what you would expect from a take out grinder shop but the service was horrible. I would like to finish this by saying I never write reviews of restaurants and understand that this is a grinder shop and not a five star establishment but the service and of this establishment deserves this poor rating the management should be ashamed.

First time eating here and we will be going back/ordering delivery. I had the #9 which is basicly a cheese steak, and my wife had the DA works sandwich. The meat was delicious, and the veggies were tasty, the bread was very soft! Service was great, the girl realized this was our first visit and got us on the right track with a smile.

My experiences coming to this place are the classic example of repeating an action in hopes have having a different outcome. The ordering process at this location is terrible and I do not use the word«terrible» lightly. It is incredibly confusing and I’ve tried a number of times to not let that bother me. But, when your order is routinely messed up and incorrect, perhaps it is time that someone mention the major error with this place. Here’s what happens when you walk in: 1: Sometimes you’re greeted, sometimes not. When the 4 people standing behind the counter decide to assist you(most the time 2 are busy having personal conversations while 1 might attempt to help people as they come in) they take your order without writing it down or putting it into the register — it’s all by memory. Eeek! 2: Someone takes your order and begins to make it. 3: BUT because nothing is written down or put into the register, there is constant back and forth over what the heck you ordered between you and the person trying to complete the order. What even makes the experience that much more fun(that’s sarcasm if you didn’t notice) is watching them try to relay your order to other employees who decide they’d like to stop having their personal conversations and actually help out with the orders. That’s when stuff really goes wrong. 4: Your sandwich order gets crossed with someone else’s order or 5 minutes later you walk out with a sandwich that is not your own. Examples: this one time they crossed my order with the other person waiting for a sandwich. The thing that they began to make(and I do mean«thing») was a monstrous concoction of stuff that no-one in their right mind would ever put together as our two distinct sandwiches became only one. Another time we didn’t pay close enough attention during the sandwich making process and when we got home to enjoy our order we found a completely random set of sandwiches not even close to the order we had placed or paid for. I rarely give a one star review, but after going to this one in Groton a number of times hoping to experience better service, I am continually disappointed. I could easily see this place fix all of their issues(with the exception of the occasionally rude employee) by asking people to pay for their orders up front and then executing the order based on the information on the receipt. Almost all fast casual restaurants conduct their ordering in this fashion and it keeps errors to a minimum by addressing them from the onset. And just in case you were wondering how the food is, its just okay — no wow factor, quality control and in fact just about on par with Quiznos and Subway. Of course, out of all the times I have ordered food from this location I’ve only received the correct order once. Perhaps it would be different if I actually got what I ordered.
