Had lunch while waiting for car. Very busy location. Parking ok. Ordered the two choice option. Average food, super confusing menu and a bit expensive, but nice place to chill.

Exactly what you’d expect from this type of place — nothing particularly good or bad, just okay. It’s a bit pricey for the quality of the food, because you can tell most things have just been reheated in a microwave or that they came frozen to begin with. Most things are just simply OK here; my one gripe is that my grilled cheese sandwich had almost no cheese on it. Really, how hard is a grilled cheese? But again, I am fairly certain it came frozen and was just popped in a conveyor oven. Good for kids and groups.

This panera is particularly delicious in my opinion. I always get either their clam chowder soup or broccoli and cheddar. Their Asiago steak sandwich is delish! And their bread is amazing too. I’ve had a few of their pastries – good but can be a bit sweet

Just had lunch here, with my 2 year old son, and my friend and her young son. The food was awesome as usual! But the best part of the experience was a employee named John. I’m not totally sure what his job description is, but possibly bus-boy/man. He was extremely friendly, making sure everyone was having a good experience, taking people’s empty dishes from them, etc. And then once he took our plates he came back and asked my friend and I, if it was ok if he gave our sons a cookie to split, on the house. Of course we couldn’t turn that down! John is a great asset to your company, I hope you appreciate him, as much as we did! Will definitely be frequenting Panera more often now!

Been to one Panera Bread and you’ve(kinda) been to them all. This particular Panera had 3 registers working during a weekday lunch hour and there was no wait to place my order. This is usually my biggest gripe about Panera. The food and the overall customer service was typical — friendly and filling. Why I didn’t give this Panera 5 stars was due to the lack of chicken on my salad. Panera doesn’t put enough on so I always order extra(I prefer extra protein and forgo the chips/baguette). It’s a $ 1.79 up charge, but it’s worth it to keep from getting hangry before dinner. The last few Panera bread locations I have been to have given me EXTRA chicken. It was obvious that I had paid for more. This place did not. In the grand scheme of things, it’s a $ 1.79 lost and it’s just a small handful of extra chicken I did not receive — not like I found a finger in it. But for those of you watching your protein intake or counting pennies — don’t bother ordering extra, or if you do just make sure you get extra chicken. *note: I did not go back up to the counter and complain or ask for more, and I am sure they would have accommodated. This review isn’t about the customer service — more about the order as is. I would come back here and eat at this location again. I will make a judgement call the next time as to whether or not I need to say something. *****update***** Since I am a creature of habit I ordered the same thing. This time they loaded my salad w/extra chicken. Must’ve been an oversight the fist time. A+ Panera Bread. There are a few in the area — this is the one I will continue going to. :)

Having the Soba bowl … Very tasty. Don’t add any salt because it is a soy sauce based broth.

Good food and good service :) I love their valentine’s and Christmas sugar cookies. This is one of the nicest ones I’ve been too.

Terrible customer service at night. I was the only one on the line and it took 30 minutes and I only ordered a sandwich. The younger worker was chatting with his friends rather than concentrating on his job. Terrible on managing, whoever is in charge. I get that it is late but come on now.

Groton Panera This location seems cozier and less crowded than the Waterford Connecticut location. I tried 2 half size pastas and 2 half size sandwiches along with a cup of soup for dinner one day. Butternut Squash ravioli with frizzled parmesan was delicious I was able to taste the subtle flavor of the squash filling. Chicken Sorrentino pasta was yummy with fresh green herbs and tart tomato based sauce and I customized it by adding pulled smoked chicken. The asiago steak sandwich came on a very good homemade quality bun and the steak quality was excellent. The Napa chicken salad was delicious and contained half grapes although the bread choice for that sandwich left a little to be desired. it came on what looks like almost soggy but slightly thick white bread. The chicken wild Rice soup was subpar. I think Panera definitely has to improve the quality of all of their soups. they all have the same Yellowy plastic cream base. It’s about time they started upgrading their soups at the very least to some of the fancier ones that you can even get in the supermarket. skip the soup. total damage $ 23

Oh em gee, this is the first Panera I’ve been to that has a clean atmosphere and isn’t disgustingly over crowded! Unfortunately for my wallet and cholesterol, they are on my way to work, and can see myself devouring power brekkie sandwiches on asiago bagels for the next year. The people who work here are 98% awesome. They go out of their way to say hi and greet which is awesome. Food to try here? How about brekkie. All of it. I’ve been trying for years to try other dishes but it pretty much never happens.

Awesome place. This is one clean café, wonderful and caring associates and managers. The food is awesome and they are consistent, hot food and always made well. The managers always working the floor, talking with customers and watching the dining room. They have a great fireplace too. Love this panera.

This is by far the panara that I prefer in the area. It’s clean and easy to find a table, which is always important. I’ve been at various times of day and never has it felt chaotic there. I’ve mostly been happy with my meals, three times iveI had nonfood items in my soup or sandwich… Which they’ve addresses by always refunding my money and letting me order without paying. Yeah, I know… Three times for nonfood items is strange– this is why they only get 4 stars. Other than that great place to go.

Speedy service, great food, friendly staff, clean restaurant. What more could you want? They also have free wifi. This month(August), it’s half off frozen drinks between 3 – 5. I may have stopped in a few times. They also have the strawberry poppyseed chicken salad back and it’s delicious! If you sign up for the Panera card, you get a free pastry on your next trip. I was never a big Panera fan living out in California but the folks at this location are genuinely nice folks and the food is great. You’ll definitely see me in this Panera once or twice a week getting my grub on. I’m there with my computer using their free wifi to do homework!

I’ve been to a handful of other Panera Breads, and this location has the best staff ever. They have always been so very helpful, going out of their way to make sure I know exactly what all of my options are(I’m vegan). We figured out how to make me one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, and the girl gave me a detailed receipt so I would always know how to order. Haven’t been this happy with service at a chain in a long time.

Ahh Panera Bread. Always a great choice. This location(like all I’ve been to) offered free wifi and had some of the fastest service i’ve seen. The manager was VERY helpful to the staff and costumers even filling drink orders to keep things moving. The lounge was clean and tables were kept up as diners departed. The RR was maintained pretty good too. All i can say is Bravo Zulu Panera. I’ll definitely be back. ** Don’t forget to get a Panera Card. Every little point/credit adds up.
