The hubby and I stopped in here this past week when we were in the area. We wanted something quick and easy for dinner and decided to stop in at this restaurant. Something was missing. I guess I was comparing it to the other El Vaqueros in Hilliard and on Olentangy River Rd. We got our food in no time, as usual. Something was definitely missing. It just didnt feel like an El Vaquero. Plus I always get the usual, but on this trip the food just didnt taste right.

Unfortunately my most recent trip here was not a good one. I ordered my standard — chicken flautas/​taquitos. The food was greasy and overdone. This is not the standard I have come to expect from the local chain. Generally the food, is fast, tasty and well prepared. I will not write off the chain, but will probably not return to this location. Note to other diners — not all El Vaqueros are created equal!

The service is always fast, we get our food within 15 min of walking in the door! The staff has always been courteous. The food is excellent, the best and freshest ingredients. This is by far the nicest & cleanest location I’ve been to! They’ve even Have excellent email coupons! Honestly I’v never had a bad trip here!

I’ve seen a lot of people who are not fans, but I love El Vaquero. They are pretty much all the same, but I don’t care. The fajita quesadilla is the BEST thing ever. I split it with my fiancée everytime, and with the awesome unlimited chips and salsa its very filling. I’ll probably be a regular here now that I know how close it is to my house! Yay!
