Fantastic cheap summer entertainment, adult and child slides, lazy river, kids playground in the middle of the pool. The way it is laid out though, it is very safe for younger kiddos without requiring super close supervision. Mostly kids will stay in the main kid pool where all heights can touch bottom. Adult areas are clearly separate and no kiddos in those. You would expect a place like this to cost more than other pools, and/or that it would be awfully packed. Not the case, only the adult slides and the ice cream vending machines had a line, but not bad at all. For $ 8/person, $ 6 after 6PM, this was an awesome place for a play date on a Sunday afternoon. Will definitely go closer to closing time next time though, not the easiest place to get kids to leave. Once they are there, they do not want to get out.

This place has so much more to offer than the other«pools» in the area. Like the other reviewer said, it is like a mini water park with the lazy river, slides, splash pads, play structures, etc. I also love the zero entry feature in the main pool that is great for little toddlers.(Though I do recommend having toddlers wear water shoes as this area is VERY slippery!) If you live in the Groveport or Canal Winchester, this pool is a great option.

I’ll start off that the little map that Unilocal is showing isn’t really correct. If you try to go where the map is telling you where the Aquatic Center is, you’ll be disappointed… because there’s only houses there. So instead, try here — The Groveport Aquatic Center has been around for a couple of years and has won several awards. This isn’t just a pool, but is more like a water park that’s been shrunk down to a smaller level. Its got: *2 water slides *In water playground for kids *450 foot lazy river *Inner Tubes *Sun Umbrellas *“Kiddie” Slide *Water Cannons *Tots Sprayground *(2) Diving Boards *Lounge Chairs *Concession Stand *Changing Rooms What’s nice is with all this room, you don’t feel like you’re having to share with the kiddos(who have their own areas) and there is plenty of room to just lounge with a book away from everyone else. No outside food and drink allowed inside the center, but there are plenty of picnic tables around where you can bring a cooler and have a snack. But probably the best part is that hardly anyone comes here! I’ve spent days here where it was me and maybe other people! I don’t know if people thinks its too far out(about 22 minutes from downtown) or too expensive(between $ 4 and $ 8 for a day pass), but I don’t mind. No line at the waterslide!
