The store is dirty, full of flies/bugs, and the workers are dishonest. If you are white don’t expect to be treated very nicely.

We got carne asada prepared with there seasonings. And chicken. It was amazing. Reminds me of Orange county meat markets. They are very nice and reasonably priced

The banana leaves for my Puerco Pibil were perfect. The meat is more expensive and less appealing than the Carneceria’s in Oceano. The girl that works there is really nice. Beware if there’s only one guy behind the counter. At least when I was there. He made my daughters and I feel like we shouldn’t be there without pepper spray. I wouldn’t go back for any reason ever.

I hate to give away a secret, but best fresh made retail salsa on the central coast. Then get the thinly sliced meat and have them marinade it for Carne asada tacos. Off the hook! All workers are real nice too. All nationalities welcome. Don’t be intimidated by the authenticness of this place, they are really helpful.
