Solid beer, nice little location and great music. Nice option in a pretty bland area and nice to have right next to the hotel.

The beers here were good. There were few I wasn’t too fond of but the sour was really good. It had a really awesome atmosphere and there was a beautiful outside seating area with a stone oven grill and a place for live music. My fiancé and I played some connect four out of their board games(I won, naturally… haha) the food was also amazing! We had a chicken and basil calzone and it was so good! The pizza going by also looked awesome. Glad we found this place and had a good time.

I want to love this place. But… they are not all that friendly! Kind of business as usual or too stressed to really connect. The one guy is really uptight and defensive… don’t get it, it’s a brewery, be friendly!

I am in town each Wednesday night and it’s hard finding reasons to not come here each time. Great beer, although they seem to be limited of their own sometimes, that of of course is a sign of how good it is. Friendly staff, great outdoor area, amazing beer!

I can never say anything bad about this place except the high prices for beer. To their defense, it is high quality, strong craft brew. I really love the Wednesday burger nights and the love music. 5 stars hands down.

Innovative beers, very friendly staff, and good pizzas and apps. Dog friendly. Nice patio. Try the 86’d. Double IPA made with New Zealand hops. Taste sensation. The sours are also very good.

I work up here and sometimes bring my wife… we visited this brewery twice now… I don’t think we will try a 3rd time. They look to have a good selection of beers, but both times we went there we felt like we were crashing a private party. First time there WAS a party on the patio so I understand.. but this time there just seemed to be a bunch of locals and we kind of got the stink eye… nobody from the bar greeted us or acknowledged our existence while we searched for a table… the bartender did say hi folks to us as we were leaving… when we discussed it outside we both had the same feeling… who were we and why were we there… went over to AJ bar and had a good time… oh well, I drink Firestone and Sam anyways, not that big of a lost.

The gluten free pizza is delicious! My hubby loves the beer selection, they don’t have a lot of wine choices because it is a «Beer Specific» place which makes sense. they may add more selection if wine starts being requested more.

Thought I should update my review. We went last Saturday and they had an amazing light beer, Plaskett. There was a second one too but I forgot the name. The only problem… I drank way too much(sorry guys) LOL I guess that’s what happens when you haven’t been out of the house or out of your office too much in 2 months. Plus the amazing atmosphere, beer and people. Oh and our dog Duchess had a good time too. Everyone we take there returns. Even better, it’s family ran by wonderful people and Brie. ;-)

One of my favorite local breweries. Good beer, good food, good atmosphere, and good people. The owners are great and always very friendly. They have a great outdoor seating area with cornhole and giant jenga. Some night they have music. I recommend the beer, the burgers, the pizza, pretzels, and pretty much everything they make! Really great local brewery, I really recommend them.

I went here to go grab a beer at a local brewery with my wife. Unfortunately, the beer wasn’t anything to write home about. I ordered a pale ale and my wife a brown ale. The pale ale tasted«soapy» as my wife called it. It didn’t have the taste of a lightly bittered pale ale. The brown ale was better, but still could be improved in my opinion. Lastly, we ordered an IPA, which the bartender described as your standard American hoppy IPA, but it definitely was not that. It didn’t give me that«American hoppy IPA» feel I usually get with other IPAs here on the central coast. They also have food, but we did not order any, and it did smell very good, so I would need to go back again to try that out. Signing off, Bretzlaf

For a new brewing company(about a year old) I didn’t expect much, but I was completely blown away by the time I left. I had one of the best and most interesting beers that I’ve had in a long time here, a Jack Daniels-Aged Sour Mash Double Stout(I highly recommend it!) They also have mead and a few guests taps that included a cider. The pizza made a great snack and they even offered to substitute the onions I didn’t want for bacon! Combine all that with the life music playing on their back porch I wish I never had to leave. I will be back next time I’m in the area to see what’s new.

Eh… this place has a cool atmosphere but if you are not a local expect to be treated so-so. I was in line and the«regulars» showed up and the server disregarded the fact I was next to help their fairly large group. Also, kids and animals are allowed here but can be completely unsupervised. Or at least at the time I was here that was the case. As for the beer, I personally preferred the pour that wasn’t even their own.

Quality place to come hang out. Surprisingly good selection of pizzas(spinach, artichoke and feta on gluten free crust… At a Brewery??) the husband would come here every wed for $ 2 off pints if he could, he loves the burgers, tacos, and of course beers. Occasionally I will join him to hang out and play corn hole out back, have an angry orchard cider on tap or a glass of wine(I’m never thoroughly impressed on the wine selection and have actually complained about small wine pours… But at least they serve wine). It kind of feels like you’re hanging out at a buddy’s house, non pretentious and a comfortable environment.

Great new location. The visit had its ups and downs. There were only 3 of their beers on tap, but of an interesting note is they make mead now. I also noticed the guest taps/bottles. Overall a good experience and hope to try more of their releases during the next visit.

I guess these guys are neish to the commercial brewing scene. It’s dark inside at night(not my preference, but it might be yours), had 4 of their beers, one was good, one was okay and two were not. Really really friendly staff, happy to tell you their story, their beers, what’s up next, etc. It looks like they do some food, but specialize one night a week with burgers and draft discounts. A nice spot for live music out back with lots of seating. There is not a lot of choice in Grover, or the Five Cities for local breweries… so, this’ll do if you’re not willing to drive to SLO.

Really really good at what they do. They offer a wide rage of beer from an ABV4.7 to a 8.6. Their back patio is clean and well appointed. The large glass viewing window exposes the brewing tanks. Plenty of free parking.
