Great little place, very friendly. The price initially scared me, $ 12 for a wrap and a 20 oz tea, but the wrap was huge! Very well made, fresh ingredients and tasty. Only complaint is that the only have one size cup and I like the 32oz. I would go back.

Great deli! Brought the whole family(7 of us)… All the kids ate everything and all were happy(not always the case). The meat tasted fresh and the bread soft. Really nice people running the place and deli was clean and spacious… Thankful we stopped here on the way home! Recommend the Hot Pastrami and St Anne’s. Also picked up some Beef Jerky a few doors down for the trip home. :) Good stop!

I’m going to have to bring it down a star, although I don’t know if it is because of the deli or it’s delivery service(MealClub). We spent about $ 800 over a span of 2 weeks in November. We had several office meetings. The last and largest order we placed was actually for two entirely separate meetings in two different locations in the building. While I had added onto the first order, the second order was placed later and paid for by a different person. I took special care in first giving the restaurant a head’s up a few days before that I would be placing these large orders, and secondly I placed the orders separately on different days to make sure they would not be packed together. Well, someone took it upon him /herself to do just that and I found myself sifting through 50 sandwiches trying to find the second order. And, after all that, they still forgot one of the sandwiches. Some of them were soggy, which could probably be expected, but maybe if they had a way to pack the tomatoes, vinegar and oil separately it might help. It really sucks there are no places in the area that can deliver a decent office lunch.

First time back with the new owners(used to be Stacked sandwiches) and I like the new look of the shop but unfortunately the food was bland. I ordered the veggie wrap and my husband ordered the southwestern wrap and both were just blah. Nothing really exciting about the flavors.

Hit or miss… Mostly miss. The first couple times were aight. Ever since then(like 5 more times, we live down the street) have been not good. My partner just came home with sandwiches which he had to have them fix once and came home and are still not right. Not that great and not that cheap. Bummer. Hope they get it together cause we love the vibe and location.

This place is pretty awesome. Really good place if you just want a quick bite. Friendly service, and awesome sandwiches! Also they sell chilled Sprecher brand cream soda which is sublime.

We went for lunch yesterday. Was craving something fresh and this was the perfect place! Boyfriend got a chicken bacon ranch wrapped with a sundries tomato tortilla. Super Delilah. And I got the st Anne’s I believe in sour dough. Super delish! And great customer service!

Was looking for something a little more healthy than fast food on our drive up to Morro Bay. Hopped on the Unilocal app and found Surfside Deli in Grover Beach. Not too far off the freeway and easy to get to. Plenty of parking and the wait was short(we were the only people there around 11 on a Friday). Boyfriend ordered a pastrami with no mustard and peppers while I ordered the St. Annes(turkey, bacon, avocado, mustard, lettuce, tomato and harvati on a wheat roll). I actually liked the pastrami more than the St. Annes. It was well flavored and not too dry but also not dripping wet. The bread on the St. Annes was a bit too thick and«bready.» Portion size was good. I ended up eating half of my sandwich and giving the rest to someone else when we met them at our destination. Skip the Panera down the road and go to Surfside!

Surf side deli is a little jewel in Grover. Their sandwiches, wraps, and salads are great!!! The owners are so hard working and obviously experienced in their field of work! I always leave this place with a smile

I like the el capitan sandwich. I’m a simple guy. This place is a good place to eat. I don’t often trust reviews so what is my word worth? But the people who run the place are good and honest locals. I’m headed there right now for my el capitan.

This place was good although I only had a wrap. I did not try the sandwiches. The wrap was huge therefore I feel I got my money’s worth. The service was good as well. I gave it an average score because I feel my wrap was comparable to Jersey Mike’s.

After several tries I’ve finally decided to write a review. I will not compare it to the previous business that was in this spot. So, my very first HOT sandwich was served to me cold. The other sandwiches I’ve had are tasty but not much of anything on them. For $ 7.50 they need to put more on the sandwiches. They need to make a better effort. I ordered a grilled cheese last time and actually watched the owner put it in the microwave. I won’t be going back!

Tried the St. Annes sandwich to go. Plenty of quality turkey and the havarti was super flavorful. The avocado was spread across the bottom of the roll which helped it from squeezing out everywhere. All around it was a decent sandwich and will be my go to. Husband had the SLO Buzz hot breakfast sandwich and it looked substantial. He enjoyed it and I know we will both return. Wasn’t pleased with the kettle chip brand they carry. «Kettle Classics» didn’t have much flavor — but maybe I had a bad bag.

I am writing this review as I am sitting with what I ordered which was the«Maverick» Pastrami and provolone cheese on a cold french roll, well all I can say is save your money both myself and a friend ordered the same sandwich and opened it and said this is a sad excuse for a Hot(not) sandwich. It took 5 minutes to get home the Pastrami was processed not deli quality the bread was fresh with very little meat and cheese, that is all I can say. Perhaps there are other sandwiches, worth trying but for 7.50 each I will stay away Subway was much better.

This used to be Stacked Sandwiches, and while I thought the food was pretty good, there, I was always disappointed with the service(rude and slow) and the Styrofoam(boxes, cups, everything!). I have been here a few times since it changed hands, and I’ve yet to be let down. The bread is fresh, meats and cheeses are delish, the service is always good and fast. SO much better than Stacked! Oh, and they use paper cups and recyclable plastic boxes — yay! My new favorite deli.

I miss Stacked and had to try this location to see if it lives up to the former sandwich place. I have to say, I will be returning! The tuna sandwich is superb, best tuna I think I’ve ever had. Whatever«secret spices» are in it are working. I also had their veggie sandwich, which was great due to the herb cream cheese. The bread(whole wheat roll) is very soft and delicious. I also grabbed a cookie because I couldn’t resist, it was great! I omitted a star because I wish they had more than one size for sandwiches. I also tried their egg salad and was not a fan at all(very mayo-y and not a good consistency). However, their tuna will keep me coming back!

Swung by to grab lunch to go today. Staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere of the deli was nice… I would have loved to stay and have lunch under one of the umbrellas on the patio, yet due to my time constraints that wasn’t an option. I had the«Killers,» on toasted sour dough. It was tasty, yet next time I may try it on a different type of bread. Wife had the«St. Annes,» on a wheat roll. I had a chance to taste it, and it was delicious! PS– you can call your orders in ahead of time if you are in a rush!
