Fantastic tacos! You can order as many tacos as you want a la carte. They have barbacoa, lengue, tripe, carnitas, and probably some other options I can remember. The flavor was excellent! They used corn tortillas, which are the best kind for real tacos imho! They are garnished with cilantro and onions. The only thing this place is missing is beer!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Augusta! It has that true«hole in the wall» feel. The service could use some improvements, but I feel like that almost contributed to the overall feel. It’s not awful by any means. The tacos are great! The horchata is excellent as well. I’ve tried various combination dishes, and none disappointed. Highly recommend this place!

Love this local spot(that is currently closed temporarily for renovations — NFI) for tacos. The customer service is decent enough, but I tend to be incredibly patient with servers. Margaritas are nothing special, either. I mostly keep going for the $ 2 carnitas tacos. The carnitas are AMAZING and the tortillas are made in house. Served with cilantro, onion and lime — these authentic tacos are my favorite go to lunch option in the grovetown area. Can’t wait to see the changes they make with their space!

Authentic Mexican food! Mexican ice creams and fruit cups are available in the freezer at the register. Delicious salsa verde.

One of my favorite Mexican places. I always get the special and have never been disappointed. They have a great variety of delicious tacos. The homemade hot sauce and salsa are fantastic. My one complaint is that there are not many fish options.

I was asked to dine here due to a previous visit by my family, who said the food was great. This visit they were disappointed. Must be a different cook they supposed. My food was ok, 3 stars for my chorizo dip. It was white cheese with chorizo dumped into it. They didn’t even stir it! Minimal effort to make. Nothing extra in it. The chips are out of a bag, nothing special. I also ate a gordita with a stew like beef. It was bland. I was told it was better the other day. Then I had flan, and they put chocolate sauce and whipped cream on it. Good flan doesn’t need chocolate sauce. The next problem was the waitress. She was too busy baby sitting her kids and sitting with 3 other people to help us. Our food was brought out one plate at a time. No silverware until we asked for it. The kid was playing with a noisy light up toy, in a restaurant. Another big problem-they had the walking dead playing on the big screen tv. Luckily the reception was bad, and the screen was too dark to see the guts. If my family member with a weak stomach had seen it, they would have been cleaning up the vomit. Then the waitress had to make 4 trips to bring enough to go containers for the leftovers. ??? And did not bring us a check. Not a repeat.

Casual and full of locals — a good sign as I walked in. Excellent service. Great tacos and chips! Definitely will come again.

Not authentic at all. Raised by Mexican parents, I grew up with this food and could tell the quality of this restaurant consisted of all frozen food. Horchata wasn’t fresh they had a huge container in the fridge and poured some onto a jug through a cup. Do not recommend at all if you’re looking for authentic food.

Sorry to say, but I had high expectations for this place and it just didn’t live up to the hype. Is it authentic? I think so. However, their menu seems limited to me, and I wasn’t really a fan. I had their chicken mi rrinconcito burrito(which was over the ten dollar mark while most of the other menu items were like 8 dollars, though it was nothing special and I don’t know why the markup). We asked our waitress if it came with rice and beans, and she must’ve misunderstood or just didn’t know because she answered yes and when it was served, there was no rice and beans on the side. There were some stuffed in my burrito, but a ton of their dishes come with it on the side, so I really wanted that. I would’ve paid extra too, but I didn’t want to order it and wait again. As far as the building goes, I don’t know if it used to be a subway building, but it leaves something to be desired. That’s no biggie though, I just wish their food would’ve been better. Wouldn’t return though since there are so many other good Mexican restaurants in Augusta.

Pretty decent tacos. I love their shrimp cocktail. Price is ok but good Mexican food for a small place like Augusta.

The tacos are really good! The best tacos I’ve had here in Augusta. I just moved from California and Being from San Diego we take our Mexican food very seriously. I was disappointed with many places not even close to good food. I only tried the tacos but they were so good. The salsa is very flavorful and spicy which is awesome.

This place is nothing special. Of course growing up in New Mexico with the best Mexican food other Mexican restaurants outside of my home state are not that great. The place seemed super clean. We came later on before they were about to close and the waitresses had some music blasting and were sweeping and mopping the floor. We will visit again and try other things on the menu.

We are from CA and hadn’t been able to find great Mexican food out here, until last night! Mi Riconcito was so good! I had the carne asada plate and my boyfriend had the fajitas burrito. I didn’t try his but he gobbled it up, and I LOVED mine. Service was good, place wasn’t too busy, free/good chips and salsa. Definitely recommend!

Yep. Legit. I’m a Mexican food junkie from ATL and have had some solid street tacos from all over Buford highway. This place has amazing tacos. Just amazing. Cheese dip too spicy for my taste and my parties, but good lord the tacos.

We tried this place out for dinner on Cinco de Mayo. The margaritas were good and they didn’t skimp on the tequila despite it being on special for the holiday. We ordered the Mari Especial and the Pollo Teresita for our meal and sopapillas for dessert. The food was delicious and flavorful. Service is efficient and they had a pretty good crowd for a weeknight, possibly due to the holiday. The lunch menu seemed to offer more typical Mexican fare. All in all, we were very pleased with our meal and will make it a point to return.

Authentic Mexican food. BEST Horchata I have ever had. The Jamaica is good here too. I am sure that Abuelita is in the kitchen cooking up my delicious meal. Don’t be intimidated because it is not Tex Mex. The menu is translated into English and even if you are not sure what you are getting, the food is great, so whatever you order — you can’t go wrong. This is such a hidden gem and the prices are just so cheap! You know when you found the jackpot when everyone in the restaurant has brought their Abuela and Tio, and the entire family. It is also so nice to see everyone in here ennjoying a piece of their culture within Augusta, GA — who would have thought? Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed. I promise!
