Our 4th time here and each time gets better for us! We stick to pizzas so I’m not sure how good anything else on the menu is. They’re running a 16″ two topping special. I recommend letting the pizza cool a bit before diving in! As well ask for some house ranch to dip the crust into! Definitely a place that is in our rotation.

Service was great but I feel the food was not at its best! No other customers are in here at the moment. Must have come in a slow night!

Did not have a good experience this evening. Sat down at first table, daughter saw a bug crawling down the wall. Second Table was not clean. Girl took simple pizza order, did not write it down, kitchen got it wrong. Pizza arrived greasy. My family has been to this place approx 5 times a year for 4 years. This visit by far the worst. Not sure I’ll go back any time soon.

This is far from New York style pizza. Doesn’t even come close. The dough has a sweetness to it as well as the sauce. Obviously people have never had NY pizza before!!!

Yum. Nice place. Great food and prices. Had to wait a bit but that’s ok as the food was so good. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Try them out !!

My sister-in-law and her beau came to town and we wanted to make sure we took them to places they couldn’t get in North Carolina. Today we decided to choose a place that even hubby and I had never been. Everyone wanted pizza. Armando’s is a little place located in a strip mall just inside of the Grovetown city limits. It’s an older décor with fake plants and flowers. If you like your libations, Alcohol is available. I ordered the Armando’s Stromboli and everyone else shared a fugetaboutit stuffed pizza. It was a hit for all. The crust was soft and delicious. The fillers and topping was also fresh and delicious. We were pleasantly pleased because it was really close to northern style. Mister has declared we will definitely be making this a date night pizza option since it’s a short trip from home.

This place was delicious. It was a quick stop on our road trip, everyone was very friendly, food was fast and tasty, good flavors. This was also affordable, I couldn’t believe how much good quality food we got for such a small price! The Calzones are huge btw!

Good service, mediocre food. Ordered garlic bread for an appetizer. The bread was good, but the marinara sauce was very oily. I ordered the chicken parmesan, which was served over a bed of spaghetti. The chicken was thinly sliced, breaded, and fried. Overall the chicken tasted okay. Again the marinara sauce was oily and tasted plain. The consistency of the spaghetti was very soggy.

This is one of my worse pizza dining experiences I have ever had. The Really Bad — 1. The Pizza was just simply tragic. They basically push a ridiculously overly chewy crust with clearly not so fresh ingredients that are pretty much thrown around. Honestly — Papa Johns does a better job. People who think this is good pizza must haven’t had many good pizza experiences. 2. The service was atrociously slow. I don’t think they ever account for customer base vis-a-vie their servers. 3. Yes I was here for Karoke night and god… the sound system was awful. The singing system was beyond 3rd rate.

We came in right at 4:30 so it was fairly empty. It was just us and another family so our daughters played together. We had order of mild buffalo wings and the Fugheddaboutit. It was my first time here but my husband had came here for lunch one day and said it was really good. To me, the buffalo wings were really good. I’ve been wanting some basic buffalo wings and these really hit the spot with the crunchy exterior and still tender meat. They weren’t overly doused with buffalo sauce so the skin didn’t soak too much sauce so it was nice and crunchy. The Fugheddaboutit was AMAZING! The crust was so fluffy. It was thin but somehow fluffy. Which was perfect because the Fugheddaboutit is a stuffed pizza with so much meat! Not to mention the pizza gravy was really good. It didn’t have too strong of a taste to where it was overwhelming. I told my husband that it tasted homemade but I never got a chance to ask. The reason I say this is because I have an aunt who married an Italian, born and bred in country. Through them, I learned to know and make proper pizza gravy and pasta gravy. And Armandos had it down. I ABSOLUTELY loved it and our waitress, Miss Amanda was really attentive and also paid attention to our daughters needs so that is a major plus for us. She even hung out with Our daughter by the fish tank! And Yuengling on draft was only $ 1.50 for the«small» mug. I forgot the oz weight. But I would definitely come back. Also Thank you, Amanda!

This place is sooooo uneven. One time, I get some of the best pizza that I have even had, the next time, it is one step above Chuck E Cheese. You can certainly tell there are many different pizza makers in the back. If I had written this review after the first visit, it would have been a 5. After the second visit, it would have been a one. Not sure that I would return.

I had a Philly steak sub and fries… Very tasteless. It was not worth it at all. They didn’t add any spice to make it anything special. The fries were too old and absolutely no salt.

Tried this place out for lunch today. Got the lunch special 10″ pizza with three toppings and a drink for $ 5.99(pepperoni and extra pineapple because I couldn’t decide on a third topping). The pizza was good, not wonderful(hard to compare when we have some great pizza places in the area), but it’s kind of a steal for that price. I’ve heard some of their sandwiches are pretty good, as well. I will probably be back to try other things on the menu.

This was a nice hole in the wall-ish type place. My family was dining on one side of the dining room and there was karaōke going on on the other. Quite entertaining I must say. Anyway… We had a party of 8 so our food took a little while. The food was good and the people were nice. I think the owner was helping wait on us. A really laid back atmosphere. Had a good experience. Since then, we’ve order take out on several occasions.

Don’t plan on many leftovers, period. This food is AMA-A-A-A-A-A-ZING!!! I now get Armando’s every time I come to Grovetown, some of the best pizza I’ve had here in the greater area, and it is super reasonable, AND the food always tastes good, whether you dine in, take away, or have it delivered. Their salads and pizza are strongly recommended, I haven’t wanted to venture away from my meal choices yet, but perhaps I should. If you’re in Grovetown or the area, GETTHIS!

Where do I begin. I’ll start from my beginning, the ordering for pickup. Well their online menu was not updated, things should’ve been removed and after comparing the current menu to online, it’s better to just go there and order so you’ll have all the updates items(considering you choose to go after reading my review, then hats off to your bravery). So we ordered chicken Marsala, calamari, a calzone without olives, caprese salad, garlic bread, gyro. They said 20 – 25 minutes, which was off by about 20 additional minutes. I had to pay before I received anything, which is weird, but I humored the idea. Chicken Marsala — terrible. The pasta it came with was good though, and they forgot the dressing for the side salad Calamari — way overcooked, terrible Calzone with no olives — this was probably the worst. First they piled on the olives which were cooked into the cheese making it hard to remove them. The ham and salami were pre packaged meats and drenched in water which were still wet while I attempted to remove the olives. The dough was still soggy and barely cooked. Don’t claim authenticity and use pre packaged grocery store quality meats. Caprese salad — I don’t know where they get off calling this a caprese salad. First off they didn’t tell us that they were out of mozzarella balls until after we already paid so we settled for shredded. Not that it would’ve helped. This was merely just greens, cheese and cherry tomatoes with balsamic. No oil, no basil… Don’t sell lies, just call it a salad with mozzarella and save the customer from lies. Garlic bread — awesome. Wish I had more. Gyro — haven’t eaten it yet, got it for lunch tomorrow. I won’t hold the day old against it so I won’t review it because it won’t be fresh, but based on the previous I’m sure I would know how it goes. So all in all I’ll probably never go back. I should’ve guessed when I saw the 85 rating posted right beside the door. This was a $ 51 meal pre tip and I wouldn’t have paid 15 for the crap we received. I had a piece of pizza years ago from there and it was delicious, the only reason they’re getting a 2 star out of me.

I’ve had many different food and experiences with Armando’s over the past year. We’ve mostly had pretty terrible experiences with the service and different, completely ridiculous issues BUT we do continue to eat here probably once a month. Their food is pretty great depending on what you get. Even the chicken fingers are deliciously spicy. The Zeppole is good and a big portion. I’m obsessed with their Greek salad. I haven’t had many of their pasta plates but I did like the meat spaghetti and my husband did not like the shrimp scampi. The strombolis are WHEREITSAT. The Steak strom is my favorite and the Mateo’s is delicious too. The pizza is also very, very good every time. If you can get past terrible service sometimes and unpredictability when it comes to professionalism, then Armando’s is actually a pretty great restaurant food wise.

Consistently some of the best food served by some of the best people! No such thing as a bad choice because everything is good.

Ate here last Sunday and ordered a 10″ pizza. What a surprise. There as a 5″ center with toppings and about 3′ of crust all the way around. Great way to save money on toppings I won’t be back.

The place to be for the best pizza in Grovetown. The food here is always hot and tasty. The dining room is bigger than you would expect and the prices are lower than expected. I ordered the Fuhgeddaboudit Pizza. Sometimes when I find a dish that I really enjoy it becomes the only thing I order. I am ordering the Fuhgeddaboudit the next few visits.
