I love their White Chocolate Mocha. The girls are friendly and the place. The sandwiches were awesome.

Went for breakfast after checking Unilocal, not disappointed at all. The spiced country potatoes really hit the spot! I had the big boy breakfast and my man had the breakfast tacos, both meals were outstanding and beyond what I was expecting. We sat outside with an amazing view! Had I known they had a dog friendly patio the pup would have come too!

This is a delightful little place and we look forward to stopping there anytime we are in the neighborhood. Specifically, the food is fresh, bountiful, and very tasty. Every employee is friendly and welcoming. There is a lovely little dining area and we can often watch the ocean while we have lunch. Love it!

Great breakfast and lunch restaurant. I almost always order the blackened chicken sandwich: the cilantro aioli is transformative. I wish they were open for dinner more often: Dinners were served three nights and now only two(Wednesday and Friday). They utilize«Square» to process credit cards and this is a HUGE improvement as they were cash only during the day. This is a family run restaurant and the food is consistently good.

We thought It was a little on the pricey side but I think they serve organic, grass-fed and free-range meats. They ran out of burgers so I had to order the Blackened chicken sandwich, which didn’t quite impress me much. Staff was nice.

My only critique is that Trinks is not open for all 3 meals everyday! Every meal is super fresh, thoughtfully conceived and delicious. Breakfast and lunch are hearty and yummy. Dinner, usually only Wednesday nights, is a divine culinary experience. Locally sourced and harvested whenever possible, each dish is decadent and balanced. The food is always great, and it’s well worth it just to drop in for a delicious cookie(made just upstairs in the Trinks bakery) and a Chai latte.

Some really spectacular sandwiches! I had the b blt, an extra b for blue cheese and it was freaking awesome, just the right amount of funk to an awesome blt! My wife had the smoked salmon blt, we were in the mood for bacon, it too was pretty awesome, both came with wonderfully fresh greens and made for an awesome lunch!

Outstanding family owned business with the best coffee in town, outstanding baked good and hot, well-cooked breakfast and lunch worth a trip. The place to see and be seen in Gualala.

Quality food in a great location. An outside heated patio is a great place to watch the ocean. If they have the«Trinks» for lunch, and you love meatloaf, don’t miss ordering it!

Nice little little bakery/coffee shop tucked away in a corner of a small shopping center(though by the locals standard that was a huge strip). Stopped there for breakfast, however we got there about an hour late and had to settle for lunch. This is one of the few places that accept cards, almost everybody else takes cash and checks(I know, hardly anyone carries checks, let alone significant amount of cash). My wife ordered the Momas sandwich that had real turkey breast instead of process meat, really good, I ordered the salmon BLT, nicely seasoned and the salmon was generously stuffed in the sandwich. Food was great, service was good, small place inside where is warm, outside sitting available for those who like the cold during the winter months. I would recommend to stop and get some food if feeling hungry if you are passing by Gualala on either your way to Mendocino on Highway 1 or going back to the bay area. Keep in mind cellphone service sucks all along the coast.

Great little casual coffee house and café. They’ve got coffee, desserts, sandwiches, and salads in a cozy location. Gualala is a quaint seaside village with breathtaking views of the Mendocino coast. I was passing through and this place really hit the spot. The staff was super friendly, food was tasty. The menu is small but I’m sure you’ll find something you like on there.

(Slight ‘blast from the past’ — I’d forgotten to hit ‘Post’. Review stands — great food, small-town friendly feel, gorgeous views… did I say great food yet? Read on…) Wow. Just wow. This Wednesday was ‘Asian small plates’ night(special dinner nights every Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and it did not disappoint…; we doubled down on the the pork shoulder Bahn Mi sandwich and veggie Fried Rice, after the Hoisin glazed baby back ribs sold out… our first rib order was delicious — falling off the rib, perfectly-balanced sweet and savory. Veggie fried rice with broccoli rave was nutty and sublime.

Came here twice over the weekend. Gualala has no options for breakfast making trinks our go to for our weekend getaway. First visit. I had the little breakfast and chocolate cake with green power smoothie. Everything came out fast. My bf enjoyed his breakfast tacos. Second visit on Sunday morning. I ordered pancakes and another smoothie. My bf ordered the big breakfast with coffee. It took forever for our food to come. We waited over 40 minutes to get our food. Also they forgot his toast, so we asked out it… no toast came out… 25 minutes later I went inside to ask for the toast and the girl gave me attitude… finally when we were done with breakfast his toast came out. On the expensive side too.

Yummy breakfast(Chorizo and Eggs Tacos). Great service. I and my husband were difficult customers — we ordered off menu with many substitutions. And they were just fine with it. And the food was fresh and delicious. I would come here again.

Staying at the Seacliff Lodge next door, Trinks was a convenient place for us to enjoy two excellent breakfasts and one good Friday night dinner. I enjoyed the«Big Boy» breakfasts(featuring spicey roasted potatoes) more than my quinoa burger dinner, which was OK — nothing special.(I don’t eat beef.) Besides making excellent hot beverages, they have a good selection of local/regional craft brews and wines. The quality of the food and drinks make this a popular hangout for locals. Fortunately, they don’t have to be slaves to another Starbucks. Big thumbs up to an excellent, locally-owned café!

If you ask anyone who lives in Gualala the best place to eat, they will always name Trinks. They serve very nice sandwiches and salads, in addition to coffee drinks, pastries, and wine and beer. Everything is very good quality, and you can eat in the café, or in the outdoor enclosed dining area. You have a view of the ocean, if that’s important to you. The staff is solicitous, and very young. They aren’t open late, and don’t serve dinner. There are other places with decent food nearby for dinner, but Gualala is a small town, and this is what passes for its best. After you visit a few times, you settle into some acknowledgement that, among the half dozen places to eat locally, you’d prefer this one most of the time. Life goes on. Good place to meet someone, good place to recommend. Otherwise, go get a pastry and coffee at Two Fish.

I’ve been to Trinks a few times while vacationing in Gualala and I have to say that it’s definitely one of the places that stand out to me most in this little town. They’ve got a beautiful view of the ocean with the outdoor seating. Workers are really friendly. Food is a tiny bit pricey, however, they’ve got great desserts and they are very generous with their portions. My boyfriend and I shared the big boy breakfast which was more than enough for the both of us. Their coffee is great too. It’s a super nice place to just grab some coffee and chat it up with friends while taking in the gorgeous ocean views. They actually accepted credit card when we were here which was a shocker since it seems like many places here only accept cash!

I’ve been to Trinks on numerous occasions for breakfast, and it’s always great! Very friendly and easy going service. What I really want to share is how fantastic they are for catering. We hired them to cater our very large wedding and they were absolutely amazing. It was clear to me that our happiness came first and that they wanted to do everything they could to make our big day as easy as possible. And the food was out of this world! We did family style lamb, chicken, and salmon and our guests raved about all of them. The appetizers and sides were also so delicious and so well displayed. Their pricing was really reasonable and they were very flexible with the menu to fit our style, but also gave us their very helpful professional opinion on what would be crowd pleasers. Couldn’t have been happier. Not only was it great food, but the whole Trinks staff seemed like such good people. I looked at catering options from San Francisco to Mendocino, and I can’t imagine how any of the other options could have beat Trinks. They totally rocked!

We dropped by this place for lunch looking for a small bite since we had an early dinner. We ordered the mom’s turkey sandwich and the turtle tart. The bread was a little hard, but the cranberry sauce was juicy and it went well with the turkey. I really liked the turtle tart. It was a bit difficult to cut as the chocolate was quite hard, but if you let the tart melt a bit, it becomes much more enjoyable to eat.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast on my way home from an awesome weekend in Gualala. I had several locals recommend Trinks, and after reading reviews and seeing photos here on Unilocal,I decided to check it out. Glad I did. Food was simple and tasty. I ordered their breakfast sandwich had cheese, ham and an egg(or two?) cooked any way you like, and the green power smoothie had kale, spinach, grapes, banana, ginger and a few other things but I don’t recall what they were. The sandwich was very messy(grab extra napkins!) but delicious, and the green power smoothie was a nice burst of flavor and energy. I also took home a lemon cookie, a ginger molasses cookie and a cinnamon twist. All were amazing! The lemon cookie was quite good and the cinnamon twist was soooo good, I wish I had bought more to take home! Trinks has a great view of the ocean, with the option to sit inside or out. There were about a thousand flies outside where I sat, but it didn’t seem any better inside. I don’t judge a business on that sort of thing though, especially being right there on the water and having your doors open constantly, you’re bound to get those little buggers swarming in. The food was good, service was friendly and quick, and it was all reasonably priced. Next time I’m in the area I’ll stop and grab another cookie or two, and there were a few other menu items I’d like to try, like the heirloom tomato breakfast sandwich. Yum! To quote The Terminator, «I’ll be back».
