Went to go pick up some vodka for a party at my friends house. The cashier was extremely rude to me and then took my drivers license into the a back office without saying a word. Now, I am 23 years old so I can understand the purpose behind scanning my id. But after 5 minutes of standing at the cash register with a line behind me i became concered. I walked to the back office and asked if there was a problem and how i could help, to which i was confronted by the owner who told me he’s never seen a Massachusetts id before and told me to get out. Overall very unprofessional management and a bad experience. went down the street Bob’s Bottle Shop which had a much better staff and a very good selection. Only a 30 second drive away if you can manage!

i used to only come to this spot for my needs… than today… one of the guys that works there calls me «cochise» …which in my book(since i look like I’m american indian… im filipino) is racist… very racist… and then proceeded to antagonize me outside after i told him how ignorant i felt it was… i will never go here again… and when i see people walking in… i will just tell them that the shop is racist and there are plenty of liquor stores in guilford…(that are a touch cheaper as well)

Tiny store, but they pack in a pretty decent selection of wine at slightly higher-than-great prices. They also have a surprisingly broad selection of craft brews. Friendly, knowledgeable service. If street parking is taken, you can park in the back, in the lot for Page’s, and walk in through the back door.
