Fairly average for a yogurt place. You get your variety of flavors and toppings. It was definitely less flavors of froyo compared to a Sweet Frog or a 16 handles, but it’s enough to satisfy your appetite. The yogurt itself was not the smoothest, it was grainy with ice chunks. The toppings were quite fresh. I actually feel like there were more toppings than your usual froyo place.

This is a very small yogurt bar that we found by accident while out searching for models for my husband and son to build together. The inside is very clean and the help is friendly. They had about 5 different combos to choose from, and many more toppings. Overall, I’m rather happy I stopped in, and will most likely visit again.

So excited to have a self-serve frozen yogurt bar in Guilford! Not much has changed in this sleepy(but adorable!) town since I moved here a few years ago, so I’m delighted to see that America’s froyo craze has finally landed on my stretch of Connecticut’s shoreline. The interior is clean and modern with a marble toppings bar, orange and white tables and chairs, and digital picture frame froyo menus. There is plenty of seating — four or five tables are in the front of the store and another four or five line the back hallway — and a giant chalkboard provides entertainment for the kiddos. With the exception of the unfinished concrete floor, this froyo bar is very inviting! Friendly staff will let you try any/all of the flavors before you choose. I ended up swirling pomegranate raspberry with original tart and found the combination delicious. The froyo wasn’t icy or drippy, and the consistency was good. The toppings bar is pretty standard; all of the expected candies, nuts, and fruits are to be had. I filled my cup with fresh blueberries, kiwi, mango, and mochi and was very happy with my choices. At $ 0.49 an ounce, prices are standard for this area. Also served here are Belgian waffles with a variety of toppings, coffees, and teas. I’ll certainly be back for more!

It’s really shocking that something trendy has arrived in Guilford, especially the trendiest culinary craze going on right now; a self-serve frozen yogurt joint. G-Town is the last place to get anything somewhat hip. I’m going to faint… jk! G-Town has not had a frozen yogurt place since I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt joint back in the 1990’s. I think Kurt Cobain was still alive when that place was still operating. I was hoping that Frogurt Time would have a red velvet flavor, like shown in a Unilocal photo, but they didn’t have it. Boo! However, I enjoyed the cheesecake and peanut butter flavors. They were solid, not spectacular! My hopes were destroyed when I found no little sampling cups… WTF! What ice cream/froyo place doesn’t have sampling options? Two stars off for that! However, I was there with my mom and bro at 8:30 on a Saturday night and it was busy. This place kicks butt in the toppings. There were plenty of different fresh fruit available such as mangos, blackberries, bananas, and kiwis. I filled my cup with raspberries and blackberries and topped it with Kit Kat pieces. My mom and bro enjoyed their cups! I hope this place does well and it should do well in the Fleichman’s shopping center.

Alright, during my first visit, my taste buds were a little suspicious. Upon my second visit, my taste buds got confirmation. This place uses a lot of ICE in their frozen yogurt. I’m fairly sure of it. Their mixture is heavy on the ice and light on the cream. Last night, I felt like I was eating an Italian ice. I tried three different flavors and none of them tasted like yogurt. I basically paid 5 bucks for a cup of crushed ice(and of course with some fruit and candy on top). Plus, I got a wicked brain freeze which is something typical from eating cold ice. I hate to say this, because I really dislike Ashely’s, but Ashely’s makes a much better frozen yogurt. They use very little ice, it’s creamier, and their prices are about the same as Froyo Time. Yea, so next time I’m going to Ashey’s(the place that I dislike) for my frozen yogurt fix. The only advantage that Froyo Time has over Ashely’s froyo is that Froyo Time has lots of hawt young girls swarming all over the place. At least that’s been the case for the couple times I visited. Most girls may not see that as an advantage however ;-)

Frozen yogurt in Guilford? Dreams really do come true! A few months ago I was wishing real hard that a frozen yogurt place would open up here since I spend half my time here in the summer and weekends when it’s not summer. Several weeks ago I drove by the CVS plaza this is in delighted to see that a frozen yogurt place would be opening up soon. I wasn’t sure if it was open yet so I looked on Unilocal to find that it had a handful of reviews already! You guys are quick! On Sunday I went stopped in twice, once by myself in the afternoon and then again with my friends and boyfriend. One of the guys remembered me and commented, «You’re back? Weren’t you already in earlier today?» Guilty… So, the space inside is open and clean. A few tables are available out front by the windows. Additionally, if outdoor seating is what you want, there are two benches directly outside. You walk past the registers, hot fudge, caramel sauce and whipped cream dispensers to get the self-serve frozen yogurt. You actually have to walk past the froyo to get to the one-size-only cups. This confused me twice as both times I was looking for the cups before I got to them. Flavors available when I was in: Original Tart, Cookies and Cream, Chocolate, Vanilla, Pomegranate Raspberry, Cake Batter, Strawberry. As with other frozen yogurt places, there are the more dessert-ey decadent toppings like crushed chocolate cookies, crushed peanut butter cups, Kit Kat bars, brownie bites, cheesecake bites, etc. There’s also mochi and fresh fruit toppings like chopped pineapple, strawberries, pieces of mandarin orange. How did it taste? I’ve had better Original Tart and found this to have an odd aftertaste and at the same time is not as creamy as I have had at other places. Cookies and cream was also not my fav and had a strange grey appearance, as evidenced by my friend asking, «What’s that grey one you have?» Cake batter and chocolate were both tasty as was strawberry. Cake batter is my favorite of them all though, I think. Nice pronounced flavor throughout, without being overpowering. Goes nicely with just about any of the toppings too, which is not something that can be said for all the flavors. Cost is 49cents/oz. — standard for frozen yogurt around here and very reasonable. Happy that Guilford finally has a frozen yogurt place!

3.5 stars… Large selection of flavors, fresh fruit toppings, clean and friendly staff. one size cup.LARGE. You pay by the ounce, so make sure your eyes aren’t bigger than your wallet… Not that hard to spend $ 15 for 2 cups of ice cream.

I found Frogurt Time when I was looking up Froyo World on Unilocal to see where the closest location to me was, and to skim through the reviews. While this is not a Froyo World, it’s only 10 minutes away from home so I thought I’d give it a shot. I can’t compare it to Froyo World since I haven’t been there yet, but I was pleased with my Frogurt Time experience. The shop is a long room, with a wall of yogurt machines along the wall, and a case with various toppings. You prep your froyo however you want(I went with a mix of tart and red velvet frozen yogurt with too many toppings to remember), plop it down on the scale, and pay the lady. The price is 50 cents per ounce, which was noted in other froyo reviews as being high, but I felt that I got quite a bit in my cup for what I paid. I’m already planning on what I want the next time.

This place is great. You walk in and grab a cup. Then you have absolute freedom to build the frozen concoction of you dream. Fill your cup with any flavor(or flavors) of frozen yogurt you want. Then it off to the toppings bar where you can add any variety of toppings to your treat. Once you are done you simply weigh and pay for your dessert. The frozen yogurt is creamy and delicious. The toppings are varied and range in options from candy to fresh fruit. This place is a must visit for all.
