After a year of trying to find decent texmex we have. Being spoiled in Oklahoma we could not find Mexican food in the area that was acceptable. This place was great. Good chips and Salsa… need I say more?

It seems like all the Mexican restaurants in this area all taste the same… except for this one. I love that they use real Mexican cheeses and the ground beef doesn’t taste funny like most other restaurants. Cheap and great service! First time I have ever been asked how I would like my carne asada steak cooked.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in the Gulf Breeze and Navarre area. Many locals say Rio Bravo, but everyone of them I’ve asked say they haven’t been to Mariachis. Thus don’t know what they are missing. I’ve spent a lot of time in Mexico and this is as close to authentic as you are going to get in the Panhandle of Florida. Corn tortillas are what are truly authentic for a Mexican restaurant and the ones here are awesome. Service is great and the price in right. Now, if I could only find an Oaxacan style Mexican restaurant!

First time stopping in today. The food was delicious, fresh, and cheap! Wish I had tried this place earlier! Authentic food and great service, I will be back again!

Living in Cali. and Mexico… and having Mexican familia… this is as close as authentic it gets here. — My only complaint is that they didn’t have Horchata, Tamarindo, Jamaica, or my Senorial(Very known Mexican Beverages).it costs them the star… –Service was great. — Bathrooms were clean –The restaurant smelled like Mexican food. thats important! If you can’t smell what’s cooking that’s an issue. –Food was amazing! –Whoever made that sweet tea in the back. My Gawd!!! THEYDIDTHAT… I was thrown back .I had to catch my life… it was some good ass tea. Im sorry. whew! –And its no expensive to eat here. between 2 people with big dinners.2 different dips. I paid $ 30 –Did I mention they served me warm tortillas with homemade salsa… and guacamole dip. from scratch.omg .my mouth is watering now. almost slobbed on myself lol. smh(shake my head) — This place gets an HR!!!(HIGHLYRECOMMEND)

Really awesome spot I stumbled upon by accident. The food was awesome and all the restaurant staff were super friendly in a genuine way, not just because they had to be. I would go out of my way to eat there when I am in the area in the future. The biggest compliment I can give is regarding the margaritas, almost every time I get a margarita at most restaurants, it is like a grossly disappointing concoction of super sweet sour mix with some tequila… Not at this place, these guys get it right, and I would return for the margaritas alone. Go there, this was the best Mexican food and margarita I have had in NWFL so far!

Service was expeditious. Food was yummy. Prices were good. Not much more to ask for! I went pretty basic and ordered a beef burrito. Food was spot on. Everything from the fresh guacamole on top of the burrito to the chips and salsa, I couldn’t have asked for a better meal. I’m pretty sure I’ll be back in the near future!

Food was pretty typical Tex Mex. Not the best I’ve ever had, but the prices for lunch were reasonable and the service was really good. It was about 10 minutes from Pensacola Beach and is located in a non-descript strip center. If you have a hankering for Mexican food, this place is worth a look.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place during our vacation to Pensacola Beach this past week, and oh wow, are we glad that we did! He’s a huge huge fan of Mexican food and not a fan of seafood. Which, as can be expected, was basically all that was around us. This food was just perfect for his Tex-Mex lovin’ heart. And mine too because yum! We ate here several times during our trip, always choosing something different. I think my favorite thing was the Tacos de Carnitas, and his was probably the Acapulco’s Nachos. Huge, tasty portions, great prices, and excellent service. You really cannot ask for more! If we are ever in the area again, we will absolutely be returning!

Not good I had the chile rellenos and did not taste good. Carne asada was not good. My kids had the kids quesadillas but they did not like it either.

No shrimp dishes. My husband got a chimichanga to go. It was 1⁄3 the size of most chimis & no extras(sour cream or guacamole). We may never go back.

On Thursday May 21, our group of six tired-and-hungry Texans stopped in for a late lunch… and we were very happy with the menu, service, and food. Great value, great flavor, friendly service. The salsa was«WOW» yummy to my taste buds. Next time we are in Pensacola, we will be sure to enjoy another meal at Mariachi’s!

Great staff, huge portions. If you’re looking for authenticity then I’d go elsewhere, however; the food is delicious. The place is kinda divey but in a friendly way. Always pleased when eating here, prices are low but quality is high.

not too shabby. Prices are fair, quantity is good. Authentic? Nah, not so much. This little place wouldn’t survive in TX or CALI where Mexican is more authentic, but so far this place is our favorite in Gulf Breeze. My daughter loved the queso, I wanted to like the Chile Reno… thankfully they don’t try to stuff it with ground beef but… what was that inside??? white American cheese? C’mon Mexican restaurants: go bold or go home! Use real Mexican ingredients, I promise… we’ll be willing to pay more.

Cheap food is always a positive In terms of pricing. Calling oneself authenitc, and utilizing Tex Mex principles is a sure way to lose credibility. This is what you are left with, cheap Tex Mex, with a cheap taste.
